Langrisser, one of the oldest tactical RPG franchises, is making its revival as an MMORPG. The series debuted in 1991, which was only a year after the first Fire Emblem. While the U.S has only received the first title in the series (known as Warsong for the Genesis) Langrisser remains one of the most renowned SRPG franchises to date.

Only played Langrisser 4 and 5 myself, and thought they were fantastic SRPGs.

No Urushihara, minus a couple points.
If this is an MMORPG, minus a billion points. Not really interested if it's not going to be the same troop-hiring, class-tree having kind of gameplay, personally.

dubble-post. It's a yes! He says the theme song (presumably the one in the video) isn't his work but he is on the sound team for the game.

I love that Facebook is now a "source" -- kind of.

This, and Phantom Brave?  MMOSRPGs must have awesome potential... the potential for awesome.

Langrisser and Growlanser belong in the same sentence right?  Growlanser II and III (from Generations) were awesome.

I'm lol'ing at everyone who even dared hoped that this wasn't going to be a squad based MMORPG.

After all MMORPGs are Taiwan's primary gaming export.

It's like the Sega cycle, but slightly more predictable. Still, you're lol-ing at me and it hurts. :P
