So,

who else lost their entire evening to this game yesterday?

I'm just loving every part of this iteration. It's incredible how they keep making this series better.

Can't run it but from what I've heard:

- Combat changes sound really cool.
- I also like the whole City States idea, although obviously I know nothing about its execution. The unique diplomatic angle they have sounds neat. On the other hand, Galciv's minor races seem like they existed more as... actual entities.
- *Not* really happy that they took out religion.
- It also sounds like it's supposed to be less "sim empire" than Civ 4 was which, again, I'm not happy about since Civ 4's "sim empire" aspect is what really set it apart from most 4xes for me.

Anyway, unless GOG puts up Alien Crossfire I'm never forgiving their latest bout of retardation. That is all.

I bought it yesterday and I can't run it. But, I'm sure it is a great game.
