I've listened to this soundtrack even more over the last few days and I must say it sounds very impressive.
Yes, I'm so glad to own the physical soundtrack :)
Where can you purchase this soundtrack? I'm looking for a reputable place to buy authentic Japanese video game soundtracks. I saw Tactics Ogre on Itunes for $16 but itunes doesn't have many other than Final Fantasy titles.
http://www.otaku.be/products/30384
Thats about as what you will see around the internet for this. Plus, the shipping is $9. You would have it in less than a week.

Wow. So, about $55 shipped. Well, I guess it's not too bad. I've picked up a couple RPG soundtracks over the years...literally only a couple. Thing is, we play a lot of RPGs...how do we afford nearly $50 for every soundtrack? I wouldn't want all the game soundtracks to the games I play but I would want some (like Suikoden V, Chrono Cross, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Ys). That would be in the hundreds of dollars. Very expensive hobby.

Usually if a soundtrack is 1 disc, they are usually $20-25. I own 110 soundtracks. With all of the shipping, i've spent easily over $2,000 on video game soundtracks. I refuse to buy digital music (Which is much cheaper) unless the physical album is out of print or extremely rare to find. It is a VERY expensive hobby, lol.

:) Good ole Delita :)
I finally just finished beating Tactics Ogre about a week ago. I've beaten it once on the Super Famicom.

I thought I was done too, but went back to it. 250 hours now and has effectively stopped me from playing all other games except when on auto-battle. The Palace took about 1/4 of that time. Whose horrible idea was it to make a 70 hour dungeon that you can't leave without losing all progress?

Omg I must be ancient, You're all thinking on buying it while i'm feeling motivated to play it on my Sega Saturn. It's the sequel to the Saturns Ogre Battle right?

Or, you know, some of us have played the older versions and are playing it again. This is more than just a port, it's practically a completely different game. It's practically unrecognizable from its original form.

I wouldn't give up Knights in the Nightmare unless you absolutely had to though; Knights in the Nightmare is really, really good.

I'd make the argument that this is a much better game than Knights in the Nightmare, but I certainly don't speak for everyone. Either way, if you love SRPGs, this is a great game.

If she refuses to let you buy this, push her into the shark tank.
I should definitely get this, FFT:WotL, or Jeanne d' Arc when I finally buy the PSP off of my friend when she gets PSP2.

Thanks Cyril, i'll look into grabbing it. I'll play the Saturn one 1st since it's been boxed since it was released. For some reason I played Vandal hearts after Ogre battle in the day rather then the sequel. Too many games,,,,,,,,,,,,
