Jesus christ Xenoblade Chronicles got expensive. So much for ever getting a Wii.

It was a super-limited release.  I believe Gamestop was the only place you could even buy the game.  Like, at all.  Nintendo was basically dragged kicking and screaming into releasing the game in the US at all...

... Wait what did it originally sell for anyway? I guess my best bet is praying for a WiiU re-release if I actually would want legit a copy then?

Anyway, got event-on-event collision working in RPG Maker VX. Go me.

Has the library picked up much or is it still like the psp in the early days? I am really considering getting one when more things come out for it. I already have some games for it from Pplaystation Plus.

I'm waiting a bit before I get a vita, because apparently Sony is making a bundle out of the ps4/vita for $500. If so, that's an amazing deal.

Do you have any solid info on that or just high hopes?

The Vita is region free with one major caveat:  It only supports one PSN account at a time.  That account can be in any region you want, but if you want to play stuff off both the US and JP PSN stores, for example, you would need two accounts.

This only matters for digital content.  If you buy all your games physically and don't care about DLC then they'll play just fine on any Vita.  And there are ways to keep account info for multiple accounts using multiple memory cards, but it's kind of a pain...

This is a minor point, but if you do import a system I believe the function of the X and O buttons are swapped for some things.  Japan likes to use O to select and X to cancel (which frankly makes more sense...).

I've heard this rumor too but absolutely nothing substantive.  Seems like it might be a bit of wishful thinking that got turned into a rumor...

Though there is real evidence that there's going to be a price drop to $200 for the Vita alone soon.  And that's for both wifi and 3G models, they'll be the same price (like they are in Japan already...).

Thanks for the perspective. I'll just hold off for a bit. I really only want to play P4 and Marasma

Hey, I found organic easy mac :DDDDDDDDD eating that and a fuckload of fruit for dinner.

---edit---

Eating fruit salad is making me feel vaguely depressed.

I got morrowind all set up if I want to run it again.

--- edit ---

I'm trying to do weird shit with RPG Maker VX Ace because it's robust enough that I actually CAN, and when I ask how to do weird shit on Steam everyone's just like "Why are you doing that?"

SCIENCE, MOTHERFUCKERS.

Rearranged my room a bit yesterday so now I can play games/watch TV while lying in bed without lying sideways or twisting my neck. This makes me happy and will hopefully allow me to endure longer gaming sessions.

Rewriting how Autorun events are handled by the engine so that I can more easily build a Smalltalk-inspired messaging system on top of it.

Not sure why they thought that was so weird? I'd recommend trying actual forums that deal with RPG Maker games for a more helpful output. Have you tried any other places like rpgmaker.net or RPG Maker VX Ace forums?
