Gargle with salted water, that usually helps better for breaking down mucusy stuff.

Injury on job? Electrical tape and paper towels. I ripped a chunk out of my thumb during a concert when I was 19, wrapped it in paper towels and electrical tape and didn't touch it for like a week. When I took the gak off my thumb,my nail was broken off and my finger was covered in dried blood, but the wound was essentially closed off and healing. Gross, but handy.

Sakura-con finally got back to me...I'm going to be doing a KanColle panel this year!  (I submitted the panel idea like two months ago, they're really slow...)

And in other news I'm off to a friend's wedding...

Better go find some homeless people to freak out.

Lunch:

- Baba ganoush pizza from Aladdin's Eatery.
- Vegan cake from Pattycake bakery.
- Mint tea.
- Bottle of mint guayusa.
- Some chips.
- Mouthwash.
- A profound sense of self-loathing.

I can't exactly claim that today was a bad day, but it has just been one mishap after another, starting with work changing my schedule on me last minute and going downhill from there.

i'm ok i think...i've heard sometimes it doesnt hit you till a week later. my girlfriend really helped me get through it though. ive learned stuff about my mom through her. my mom hurt me a lot and all i ever wanted her to do is say i'm sorry, but she never could. my girlfriend is the same way they both have/had a really hard time expressing themselves verbally. but it didnt dawn on me till she was gone so when i talked to her urn i told my mom that i forgive her.

I was so tired today, I got on the bus and closed my eyes.
Opened them again I was at the station.
Took the other bus and closed my eyes.
Opened them and I was home.

A 40 minute trip felt like 1 minute.
(and yes, I have this weird gift of always waking up before my stop)

I usually wake up like a few mins before my alarm clock rings then I fall asleep again thinking I still have time and then when the alarm clock rings, I wake up really sleepy.

Weather's really nice out right now. This too shall pass.

I could learn to drive and get a car and fuck off to southern Ohio but what's in southern Ohio besides a river and ghosts and grain elevators?

What I'm remembering now though is being in Ft. Waybe back in 2004, early December, Glenbrook Mall, getting eggrolls from Panda Express, going to Best Buy... There's negative feelings associated with that.

--- edit ---

went up to five hits. Gonna omit that.

Had nothing but almost-nightmares... First one was about titans, next one was about zombies and the last was about zombie titans (that one took place in a school). I blame my sister, because she made me babysit that tiny neurotic dog she namd Levi.

These mornings after the time change have been killing me. I'm so freaking tired. It feels like the  middle of the night when I get up because it's so damn dark out. Plus, I'm tired as hell and falling asleep at my desk. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

My sons 3 hermit crabs have all died. We don't really know what we did wrong. Probably something to do with the humidity of the tank. Still, that whole process was a pain in the butt. Anyone who says Hermit Crabs are a "beginner" pet(Frickin' Petsmart) are WAY wrong. There's a lot to keep track of, and change, and clean.
I feel bad for him, as he proved himself to be quite responsible with their care. We'll let him have another pet eventually. He wants a lizard of some sort, but my wife isn't too big on that idea. I think it would be cool, of course.

Due to a miracle, I have 3 of the next 4 days off. Going to be doing some writing, and plenty of creative time wasting (Kerbal Space Program).
