Let's just say that someone was not too pleased that I lost any and all drive for ... "hanky panky" as she calls it ... for about a month after I rotated into OBGYN.

...and some girls have forests down there. I was afraid I'd stuck in the overgrowth.

Brutal, Lev...brutal.  At least contemporary, American women that you *would* hook up with will hopefully be on that forest like a papermill cutting down trees.  And if it helps, wihtout saying *too* much, I make sure I'm showered and clean and smelling pretty before doctors look at my... um... my throat (I get strep a lot).

Well, most girls I've "hooked up" with have had rather clean... throats. Yeah.

Anyway, I always make this mistake of thinking I'm just out of my teen years, then I remember I'm closer to 30 than 20, and my mind is boggled. Damn you, progressive flow of time to a direction where increased entropy results! Damn you to hell!

I still see myself as younger than 22.  That's not old to begin with... but it still sucks being first year at uni where everyone else IS 17 to 19 years old - I get confused by that sometimes.
Maybe its a good thing?  Living rushed would be horrible.  And it's hard to define the 20-somethings other than an age where you're living off the air of being a teen and still doing crazy shit, but settling into more studious and settling habits of what the 30's bring.... I guess.  I dunno.  Seems most people wanna get married in their mid-30's or later now haha

I'm a couple of years older than some of the kids at my University too (21 years old, second year). Anyone in my course below twenty kinda just irritates me now. :P

I think this is an appropriate thread in which to write that I've just went walking around in the snow over here. It's been snowing all night and the city looks gorgeous.

I'm studying Politics and Economics (with a likelihood of majoring in the former when I get to my third year).

My boyfriends friend is over just now, and I totally fail at social interaction. Here are some conversations we have had so far.

Him: "Just out of bed?"
Me: "No...this is just what I look like."

Him: "That's a lot of plushies."
Me: "yeah...I like cute things."
Him: "Oh, okay."

Not to mention I've so far told him my entire knowledge of bees and vitamin B. He obviously didn't care but my mouth wouldn't stop going. Now Hugh has left us alone in the same room and he is just looking at me but I'm typing this and pretending not to notice because I don't want to open my mouth and say something stupid again.

EDIT: Fuck! Now I've just offered to cover him in cream cheese.

Your 1st response is hilarious.

His response to plushies seems standoffish.

Tell him to be cordial or remove thyself

I think it was because when he mentioned the plushes, when I said "I like cute things" I had picked up a penguin and was making it dance. I thought it was adorable but apparently he thinks that was weird.

Also, he just called me crazy because I told him I see faces of clowns in the floral patterns in our curtains and I see chickens in the artwork my boyfriend has of Halo.
