Just dug out a bigass hole in the back my parents house to repair some leaks they are getting in the foundation. About 5' deep, 2' wide, and 15' long. Hard ass work.

Tonight going to pick up a fancy camera from my friend Chips. My +1 and I are going on a trip to the NY Fingerlakes region and my camera is streets behind. Then we shall go to a bar and watch the blackhawks.

Tomorrow. Leaving for NY. Getting sauced on the train. On the ride we shall watch Always Sunny and I shall play Ys 7, FFT, Strange Journey, and Metal Slug.

D: I don't know what this thread means.

Are we just meant to say what we are doing? Or going to?

I'm flying back to Scotland to see my family for my birthday, tomorrow. Dad is picking me and the bf up at midnight in Edinburgh airport. Then Saturday is my birthday, so I will be making the rounds to see my family with my hat in my hands.

It is lovely :)

Though I love it for the fact, no one lives there! It's Emmmpty, outside the 3 or 4 major cities that is.

I am going to spend this weekend drowning myself in DVDs and popcorn-- or celebrating with DVDs and popcorn, depending on some news that I receive tomorrow. Also intend to start working on my first Politics essay of the term by compiling a reading list. Exciiiiting times.

Have a happy birthday Starmongoose! I hope the weather here will agree with your visit. :)

WHAT THE FUCK STOP COPYING ME 8(

Otherwise I've had a cold and this week has been nowhere near as bro time as Monday would've suggested though I'm feeling better now although I'm still trippin' balls and having short-term memory issues from the... cough drops and sinefrin I've been chain-smoking.

Needless to say I don't remember yesterday and almost said "Solen skiter" instead of "Solen skiner" in Swedish today and they mean COMPLETELY different things. For reference, solen means "the sun" and "sk" makes sort of a "sh" sound in swedish. Figure it out.

---wait---

Wait I meant the birthday thing. Not Scotland.

I'm going to Cleveland. I have no idea why. I'm likely to buy plants.

Thanks, guys! :D

Me too, though I've learned never to hope for much when it comes to Scottish weather. No doubt my dad will insist on having a BBQ, whether it be sun, rain or snow.

@Mesh: I don't mean too D:, it's just a series of freaky coincidences and totally not related to the fact i've spent the last 2 weeks in your air-vent, looking at you. I ran out of food days ago, and am now just living off belly button lint but I think it's worth it.

It's actually been relatively warm over the last couple of days- and not as windy either. The meadows have been gorgeous. Here's to hoping it stays that way the entire weekend.

Dammit, I wanna go to Scotland.  Sounds like a damn good way to spend a Birthday.

I be going to school and reading tons.  Just finished Faulkner's As I Lay Dying, and am working on Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God.

I also be working on some sort of reconciliation with a friend.

I also be working hard on writing a novel.  It's a really crazy idea but I've already started and I can't stop now.

I also be hoping to spend the night at a bar enjoying a cold brew and an order of wings.

Today's a friend's birthday so we're probably taking him out Saturday night.

I will also be watching Kurosawa's High and Low sometime this weekend if I can commandeer the HDTV.  Otherwise I'll just have to watch it on my small TV.

On a plane right now, some idiot got all in my face because I was sitting in the aisle seat, which he wanted.

I told him that not only was I hear first, but that I am 6'6 and my legs don't really fit too well in such a tight space. The gentleman, who was three times older than me but who had the maturity of a toddler decided to have a little tantrum.

So trying to save myself the embarrassment of the whole plane looking at me i'm now wedged in the window seat, my knees to my face while a ten-year-old in the seat infront of my insists on bouncing on his seat.

I'm jabbing a pen into his side every now and then though.

EDIT: Also for people visiting Scotland - some advice.

If you can't understand what they are saying, don't nod in the affirmative. A lot of Scottish people  play a game by talking in a really thick accent and when you do the "just nod your head and smile" thing, they will whisk you away and you'll either be a new drug mule or having tea with someones grandmother who has Alzheimers.

Chips are fries. What you call chips are crisps. A fanny is a vagina, so try to avoid "sitting on your fanny" at all costs. A Sega Genesis is a Sega Megadrive (You never know when you might need to know that).

Scottish people are highly sensitive if you criticize their country, and you will be screaming "The bees! The bees! My eyes! My Eyes!" before you know it.
