, and the only people from highschool you'll think back on six years on are going to be the ones that died in car crashes. Even if you didn't know them.
The worst thing is you're not even going to WANT to keep in contact with most of your friends from highschool because after you move out and move on, a lot of them won't. They'll stay back and get some teenager pregnant or settle for a low-level factory job that leaves them lots of time to ponder stockpiles of shotguns and pipebombs, and the validity of Obama's birth certificate.
I think the biggest takeaway message from my time in highschool was just how to be really good at BSing. How to manipulate people without even realizing it. How to be a sociopath. If you can game the system to get a really high GPA through both highschool and college, you've got the necessary life skills to screw over anything.
