Just returned home. I was asked to teach the afternoon class as well as the morning class, and I agreed because the girl who teaches the afternoon class was in Poland. Not a single person turned up, so I'm pretty miffed as I had spent most of the night printing off worksheets and making email accounts for them.

If they do it again they get thrown off the course, I'm afraid. My morning class is very full as it is and there are a LOT of people waiting for spots, so if they only plan on showing up once and a while, I won't teach them. Which means they don't get the diploma, which means they just wasted a lot of their time.

It's sad, but I don't have much choice.

My Sambucus 'Black lace' has buds on it!
So does my Hydrangea petiolaris!
Oh, happy day!
...
For me, anyway.

For reference, this is the third season for the Sambucus, and the fifth(I think) for the Hydrangea. Neither have flowered before now.

Carry on...
