Bushwick. There's an open apartment that I'm strongly thinking about moving into...but it's really expensive. Damn this city is too expensive.

Yeah, I'm sure the rent is super inflated there too. Hell, even in Clinton Hill I pay insane amounts of money.

When I close my eyes I see blocks, lots of blocks.

Hah, I said the same thing in the Catherine thread a week ago ;)

That's freaking Brooklyn for you. It's the new "in" spot. I seriously think it's time for me to move into the city though, and I think I want to do it by next month. I also can't imagine moving anywhere but Brooklyn, but damn is it hard to find a good spot that's cheap enough.

Had a phone interview with an employer today. Said she would phone me back at the end of the day if I had made it to the next stage.

It is now 8pm. There has been no call.

Yeah I wouldn't bank on it. It seems like the best way is to get into a sublet situation or room with a bunch of people. Rents in those situations can be as low as $500, but it might be too late for that.

Myself? I pay $750 a month. That's my half.

Up for sahur, we've got the news on and we're observing the London riots. It's crazy, watching the city being set on fire. I hope they get their shit together soon.

Nuri, there's some rioting happening a few roads over from me at the moment. Pretty scary stuff.

I'd be damn disturbed to be anywhere near that shit right now. I'm flying into London this week but won't be heading towards any of the (thusfar) affected areas. Be careful Deg! :(

Crazy shit going on in London. Definitely wouldn't want to be anywhere near it.

After some serious reflection, I think I've decided to definitely make a move out into NYC ASAP. I'm thinking the earliest reasonable move I could make is maybe in October. As long as I can find a room for $5-600 a month I could probably swing it. Also need to find a job with a more steady income. A lot of factors for sure but I think it's time to throw caution to the wind and take a chance on this. I'm way to miserable out here.

My work are being nazis about me being one minute late. In response, I am growing a Hitler moustache. When they ask, I will tell them it's in tribute to Charlie Chaplin.

Well, an Irish lady I work with has gone nuts at me because I mentioned her daughter talking filth last night, Like totally nuts. I don't know about you guys but I dont think it's normal to discuss dripping Vjayjay's at work. So after the threat of telling her daughter (which I don't care) i'm now sitting here thinking, get over yourself, she was talking filth and there is no doubt about it.
