That's freaking Brooklyn for you. It's the new "in" spot. I seriously think it's time for me to move into the city though, and I think I want to do it by next month. I also can't imagine moving anywhere but Brooklyn, but damn is it hard to find a good spot that's cheap enough.

Yeah I wouldn't bank on it. It seems like the best way is to get into a sublet situation or room with a bunch of people. Rents in those situations can be as low as $500, but it might be too late for that.

Myself? I pay $750 a month. That's my half.

After some serious reflection, I think I've decided to definitely make a move out into NYC ASAP. I'm thinking the earliest reasonable move I could make is maybe in October. As long as I can find a room for $5-600 a month I could probably swing it. Also need to find a job with a more steady income. A lot of factors for sure but I think it's time to throw caution to the wind and take a chance on this. I'm way to miserable out here.

Well, an Irish lady I work with has gone nuts at me because I mentioned her daughter talking filth last night, Like totally nuts. I don't know about you guys but I dont think it's normal to discuss dripping Vjayjay's at work. So after the threat of telling her daughter (which I don't care) i'm now sitting here thinking, get over yourself, she was talking filth and there is no doubt about it.
