I'd be damn disturbed to be anywhere near that shit right now. I'm flying into London this week but won't be heading towards any of the (thusfar) affected areas. Be careful Deg! :(

I read they've gone as far as lighting buildings on fire and that the violence has spread to other cities as well. That's really awful.

Hey, how's it going? It's been a while.

There's been no major trouble near me, just a few cars on fire and a smashed up McDonalds. One of the major fires in Croydon was reasonably nearby and we had the smoke blowing over. I just really hope last night was the worst of it.

There was a power outage so I went to bed early with my window open. At 2 AM the neighbors are stomping around their front yard and wake me up. I haven't been able to fall back asleep. At least the power's back.

Sorry, had a little brainfart there. The Dutch word for onion is 'ui'. For some reason my brain thought it was perfectly okay to start the English that way. I realized my mistake hours after I made it, but I didn't feel like getting out of bed, turning on my laptop and correcting it.

I blame it on being tired. And speaking of being tired, why won't the crazy dude downstairs shut up? Why was he yelling when it wasn't even 7 am in the morning? He doesn't appear to have a job, why is he even up that early? I had a good opportunity to sleep in today, but he ruined it...

You guys love tea, right? Today  had plain green tea with cream (cream, not milk) and it was delicious. Probably ruined any health benefits the green tea had.
