Blagh, the worst part of being in a (kind of) doujinshicircle is all the drama that comes with it. The longer a circle exists, the greater the chance one of its members will get a teensy weensy paranoid and drama happens. I don't like drama. I don't want to be involved. Why do teenage animefans have to be so hotheaded and just rush into stuff without considering the consequences? Why can't we all just gather around and discuss things over a nice cup of tea? Circles are supposed to be fun...

Getting ready to head into Chicago tomorrow for the Marathon. My crazy wife made a proclamation at the beginning of the year that she would run in it, and now here we are. She just completed her training, and is ready as she'll ever be, I suppose. She's pretty pissed about the warm weather, though. Runners like it cool. 50 is good. 75, not so much. I'm not AT ALL looking forward to dealing with the crowds, but such is life.

Anywhoo, these days I'm mostly keeping tabs on my tarantulas. Yes, you've read right.

Fluffy (Mexican Fireleg)



She was acquired in February '10. Has since molted three times and doubled in size from a 1.5" baby to a 3" juvenile/sub-adult. Still has much growing to do since it's supposed to max out at around 6"+.


Ginger (Mexican Redknee)



She was recently acquired as a guaranteed female at 1.5". She has yet to molt in my care, but she eats great so far ! This is the classic "pet" tarantula. She should max out at around 6" as well. Will take 5 or more years for that. They are very long-lived.

I have to give credit to Ramza, he had "inspired" to acquire all the Square soundtracks at the time. Had succeeded from FF1 to FM4. Recently, I have moved out of the VGM and gaming scene, but I've kept a few souvenirs soundtrack-wise. A couple of Ys albums, FF6, Megaman, Castlevania, etc... Thus everytime I listen to my small collection, I recall much gaming nostalgia. Yeah, so to those who remember me, my posts will be sporadic at best. So little time to be online these days.
