any time a school has random time off they call it "reading week" or "reading day"
we (and by "we" i mean suny albany) have a "reading day" around finals time, but it's just the awkward one day off that exists between classes ending and exams beginning.

Incidentally, my Reading Week just began.

Also termed "Innovative Learning Week", which means the respective colleges set up non-mandatory events/talks/fairs for their students to attend. I'll probably go to the careers fair.

My reading weak will have actual learning.  I'm sad. So sad..

I'm gonna do shitty on this test.  I should have worn a hat in case my eyes "wander".
On the bright side, I got a 7-freaking-8 on a paper I did in about 3 hours (the shitty modern-pop-art one you might have seen me post about).

In other news... I coloured my hair.  I love the colour, but what I hate the most...
- picking hair off clothes all the time, that first week has you shed/chemical-kill any loose hairs that were supposed to come out twice as fast...bleh.
- Chemical smell till the next time, sometimes two times you wash your hair. x_X

8000 calories?

As a medical professional, I am appalled.

Ew.

I have nothing against junkfood once in a while, but that's just way too much! How does that even taste good?

One time I bought a crave case from White Castle (30 burgers, fyi). We were sitting on my roof eating them, got through about six, decided they were fucking terrible and had a food fight with the rest.

Do schools up there have an actual week built in for reading like that?

Mine's on reading break right now, but I am spending it drinking, working, and mucking around in the ME3 demo.

I guess I am reading - ME: Revelation though, no textbooks.

How are they? I've heard they're littered w/ continuity errors and the like.

I'm going to go get some awesome indian-pakistani food. I'm going to make my own chick peas b/c they put waaaay too much ghee in theirs. Their chili chicken is absolutely fantastic and cheap.

Revelation is the first I've read, so I can't really comment on continuity errors yet. I own two of the other books but but not Deception. That's the new one and it's LOADED with errors, and BioWare's actually apologized for how bad it is and is going to make a bunch of edits in the next edition. I'm in no rush to read it, I'm so behind in ME literature. :-P
