That right there is the problem. NBC highlights what THEY think the people want to see. It's the same every Olympics. Gymnastics, swimming, and running take precedence, with everything else squeezed in at a odd times, or not at all. I would love it if they showed a bunch of the lesser known sports during prime time. I can't watch in the middle of the day! I understand that their goal is to make money, but they don't even give anyone a chance to decide. Considering the soaring popularity of archery, you'd think they would have capitalized on that, but I didn't hear a thing about it until after it was done. They don't even make mention on the main station that other events are available on sister channels. I imagine it's because they don't want to spread out the audience. Hopefully, someone new gets it next time, and we get more choices.
I tried to Youtube some of these things, but, not surprisingly, they are not available. I'm sure NBC is all over making sure people aren't posting stuff.
