In the past week, the following has happened to me:

After 4 years of trying, I finally found employment as a Special Day class teacher.

The next day, I got another job offer. Understand this happens after 4 years of rejections.

Went for the special day class position, and because my lease is up the end of September, I'm actually trying to buy a house...and knowing I will not have much time after this week...yeah.

I'm so happy but I've had a tension headache that will not go away. ^^; I start next week.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, after looking at townhomes the last few days, I made an offer on one! They fired back a counter offer. I will know tomorrow if I'm a homeowner or not.

It's about time you got hired. That's awesome. Good luck with the home ownership thing, too. It's a lot of stress at once, but it's good stress, so it's ok. Glad things are looking up for you.

Our weather situation has finally turned around! Such a gorgeous day. In the 70's and 80's for awhile. So nice. We deserve it. We still need some more rain, but it helps when it's not 90-100 for a month straight.

My health has been shitballs lately. Feels like my whole body is falling apart. I'm not even sure what the hell to do anymore. It's really starting to to take, not only a physical, but also a mental, toll on me. I basically live by the moment now. If I feel OK for an hour I'm happy, and try and take advantage of it. Too bad even that is asking a lot. Forgive me if I sound like I'm whining, but I'm not. Just putting the facts out there. It feels good to talk about it sometimes, even if no one wants to listen.

My mum has fibromyalgia, she's a mess because of it as well.  She tries a lot less, but then again, when you're exhausted and in pain a lot of the time, it's kind of hard to tell too.  I remember you saying you have it, is that what the cause is???

The Crudmobile III aka Yodamobile II is near the end of it's life and the 15mpg I get is hammering me in the asshole.

I've been toying around the idea of getting an electric car. Sure it's like 40k but you get almost 10k back from federal and state tax writeoffs.

I'm not sure how well they'd work in a Chicago winter though. They only get like 70 miles to a charge and that's not using the heat or AC. If I'm blasting the heat I wonder how much that range dips?

I have several issues, with Fibro being one that several doctors have said I have. Along with something called Polymyalgia Rheumatica. To me Fibro = I don't know, and don't feel like working harder to find out, so this is what you have. There HAS to be a core problem. You don't just suddenly start getting pains all over your body for no reason. I'm apparently surrounded by inept doctors. Plus, Mayo woudn't let me in! They said it was too going on too long for them to do anything. Baffled the fuck out of me. I thought that was the point of Mayo! To find out what the hell is wrong in a away that others couldn't. That was quite the blow when I heard that.

My sister has been suffering from intense abdominal pain for about 6 months now, so bad she can't make it to school most days. Doctors don't know what's up, and frankly, they aren't doing a whole lot to find out. Very frustrating.
