But... I didn't receive any gifts....

In the last month I spent $600 on clothes.  I'm one of those girls now... ˚_˚

EDIT: cleaning out the closet, need some winter goods and give the rest to the poor... so no, my room isn't exploding with clothes.

She only has one foot, eliminating the need for a pair.

Serious for realsie cell phone help. I've been paying for my dad's cell phone for the last like 5 years. It's basically for emergencies only as he never gives out his number and has no idea how to add numbers into it. So I'm going to cancel him from my plan... what's a good solution? Are there cheap ass phones you can just buy like __x__ minutes on or something? The extra 20-30 or whatever a month for him is pointless but I want him to have something in case he's in a jam.

Two perks of having one less leg to deal with: cutting frostbite exposure by half (or a quarter if the hands count), and socks will literally last twice as long since they come in a pair and there's only one leg for 'em.

Yeah, paying $20-30 a month for that is ridiculous.  What you want is a prepaid phone.  There are tons of plans like that.  Pay attention to when the minutes expire, though.  For a lot of plans you have to add a certain amount per month to keep your service, but on the other hand a number of companies have things where if you pay like $100 it's good for a whole year.  That's what I would recommend.

Depends what kind of phone he has now, but you don't necessarily have to get a new phone at all.  You can just get a new SIM card if it's GSM.

Yeah, I actually watched the whole debate. Well, minus 10 minutes to shower and put my son to bed.
I'll give Romney credit for being the more poised and assured of the two. He seemed comfortable and had has answers ready. He definitely did better overall than Obama. It doesn't really matter, though, as all they do is spout out twisted truths, and accuse the other of doing exactly what THEY are doing themselves.
This round was almost assured to go to Romney due to the topics: Economy, healthcare, etc. We'll see how it goes when social issues come up. If Obama f*$ks that up, then he might truly be in trouble.
This should probably be in "Today's News". Oh well.

Shoulda replied to this sooner, but no. xD
But I did laugh.
Glad you're happy at work -- sounds like you got a sweet gig, especially fi you're the one givin some of the orders, that's awesome!

And regarding the debate, there aren't enough rich people in the states to vote for Romney.  But it should be an interesting election..  All I wish is that while they're giving the speech, they put on inspirational, over the mountain, music ...like in the movies.

Yeah Dice, foot?

I'm finally doing the indie game dev thing.  Gonna submit a game for Playstation Mobile when it opens up to the public in November... even with such a small "team" the stress is incredible.  I truly understand why bosses yell at you for being late now.

...because if this fails, my mum's house will finally foreclose, and American homelessness ensues!  Actually the homelessness is inevitable, but I absolutely need to finish this project this month if I want to have any sort of income during the times ahead.

Working hard staves off depression, amazingly.

Recently got into Avatar. Way past the point where they quit making plush Appa dollies.

Oh welp.
