We just passed the 2 year anniversary of this thread!

I remember just signing up to the 'Fan as a bright eyed n00b with dreams of Final Fantasy marathons and playing all the SMT games.

That trip I was talking about in my first few posts in this thread feels like it just happened.

I kickstarted for my first time.

They totally needed it, too.  Barely made those funding goals.

I went to see Presidents of the United States. They are great in concert.

All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.

Yeah, I know.  Still stressing out when I shouldn't be, though.

I lost my KickStarter virginity on that one too (since then I've also indulged in the OCRemix FF VI album).  You never forget your first time....

Wait you can start a Kickstarter to lose your virginity? I should totally

not do that because I have lost all interest in human sexuality.

Finally got a practical jacket to wear biking to work. The one I have now is too long.
Went back to this awesome lamb place in Seoul, probably my favourite restaurant in the whole country.

Feel compelled to learn assembly.

Slightly terrified.

Hello to all

Its been along time. I hope, I didn't miss too much. I have been busy running my own business an I just started  teaching Art & design to secondary IGCSE stand.
That's keeping me really busy. I haven't really got time for games these days.

When there's only one laundry machine in the building and somebody decides to do six consecutive loads of laundry (on a friggin Sunday, no less...the biggest laundry day of the week), that justifies murder, right?

Nah. Just take their clothes out of the dryer and blast them with piss.

Anyway, the cool thing about 68K assembly is that the Sega Genesis homebrew seen is pretty decent and there are a lot of open source, freeware things that I can both hack and look at the source code for. The downside is that I can't figure out how to get my damn debugger to break on RAM access.

Making homebrew Gameboy stuff actually sounds a little more interesting to me although it sounds like... Z80 or whatever the gameboy used is harder to work with than 68K.

Bad habit of mine: I buy a lot of games but don't really play them that much. I think this is actually logical -- most of the stuff I buy is pretty undervalued right now, but probably won't be in a few years. Also this is stuff I'd LIKE to play at some point, so it's kind of like, might as well get it while I actually CAN get it.

And as another thought experiment, I located my box of old MTG cards. Imma come up with a solitaire ruleset.

I knew waiting for Deus Ex HR was a good idea!

I already have TLR and Supreme Commander 2... but hey, still a great deal.
