In other news, I'm having some weird allergic to SOMETHING, possibly dog soap. My everything itches (especially the maidenly frutt I grew after eating too much yogurt and Luna bars), and my eyes are being allergy.

Like everyone else on the east coast, I'm hunkering down for the storm.  I foresee one of two outcomes:  It will either be an overhyped "huh, that's IT?!?!?!" storm or it will completely destroy our asses because we underestimated it. 

I'm in New Jersey, so I'm dead center in the path of the hurricane's uppercut and the cold front's left hook.

Oh also, Oakland Nurseries had tree aloes and they were pretty hefty and all of 15 bucks so I bought one. I think it's a dichotoma. Not sure.

Well, be careful, guys. Hope things end up not as bad as they could be.

The Poe show last night was amazing! Pretty much the best birthday present I could get. It took place in this beautiful estate, and had us move from room to room for each scene. The setting was perfect, the actors were amazing, and the story almost brought tears to me eyes. Great stuff.
Had a damn fine steak for dinner, too. Twas a good night.

I'm not feeling it today, though. I need to get those leaves taken car eof, but it's freakin' cold and windy out. I'd rather play my new game. We'll see what wins out.

We carved pumpkins, too. Maybe I'll put up a pic later.

So we took a day trip back to my home town for our church homecoming, was somewhat melancholy but still enjoyable. I hadn't been home since Grandma passed away in 99 so while nice to be back was still a bit bittersweet. Good side was my son has little memory of her or the town as he was too young so he had a lot of fun seeing my old haunts.

I too am in this this tropical rainbelt of a storm called Sandra.  What makes worse, today I can tell I'm beginning sickness.  Hopefully it does not bloom into full cold system.
