Working from home because of snow. I have a maximum amount of work I'm allowed to actually do on a given day before they want me to stop doing stuff. I hit that quota by noon.

My band, Pool of Thorns, just scored a spot opening for (hed) p.e. March 14th in NYC. So if any NYC 'fanners wanna come check us out and actually hang out with me in person, message me for details.

I'm pretty stoked since this is probably the biggest band I've played for in my musical career. Okay, so my old punk band played with Joe Jack Talcum from The Dead Milkmen, but still...

Otherwise, the haps is business as usual. Work, gym, band, RPGFan.

I have a job interview in a little over two weeks for something that's not necessarily my dream job, but close. It's in the same county government system where I currently work, but It's more appropriate to my degree, it's at a better department/office with a better chance for upward mobility, and its base pay is around $15,000 a year more than what I currently make. For the first time in four years, I'm going to spend most of my free time studying.

Big back workout last night with some bicep finesse tossed in. Nothing truly groundbreaking to speak of, but I was there for about 2 and a half hours, so I got a lot of exercises in. To end my workout, I played with one of those aerobic sticks that weigh like 15 lbs and did windmills with it for like 5 minutes. Now I know that doesn't sound hard, but try doing a windmill with a 15 lb stick. The simple act of keeping it outstretched is demanding after a minute or two, nevermind spinning it hand over hand in a constant rythym. My workout buddies and I were messing around afterwards with the same aerobic sticks, seeing who could hold it up the longest from the end of the stick. I seriously can not stress enough how stupid it was doing this, as my right arm and shoulder are killing me still. Also, I held it as such for a whole 4 seconds.

Snow hitting the city today, so idk if I'm gonna make it to the gym tonight. Otherwise, today is shoulders.

Oh wow. EA really fucked up bad apparently.

The current score they're giving the game is a 4/10, because it's barely possible to even connect, and EA's disabling features to improve connectivity -- only it's not fixing the connectivity issues, and it's making the game worse.

The same site gave the pre-release version of the game a 9.5/10.

Yyyyeah I think I sprained my foot. On the other hand it's gonna be really nice out tomorrow so I wanna go for a walk.

Oh well, better eat a bucket of ibuprofen and put on a compression wrap. I've taken incredibly long walks with an injured foot before.
