Double posting because Kaiba can screw the rules.
So I spent all of my weekend dreading this job I'm doing this week, which was to be a major install. Originally spec'd out at 5 plasma tvs being removed from one spot, mount and all, aling with some video conference equipment and associated cables to make everything work, and re-install it all at another site. This was upgraded on site to 8 plasmas, 3 rooms worth of video conferencing equipment, and cable boxes to be removed from one site and be reinstalled minus 2 tvs at the other site. Sounds daunting, right?
As of today, 4 tvs are mounted, the 3 rooms of video conferencing equipment are set up and operating minus network connecticity (which time warner was putting in today alongside of us), and no one is (very) angry or injured or tired. We're so ahead of schedule that my father and I left 2 hours early, and our associate who's suffering from a pretty nasty toothache (crown's failing or some shit) spent all day not raging in pain. Tomorrow's gonna take a total of 3 hours, assuming I sit on my ass for 2 of those hours. Best part is I'm probably getting paid for 4 days anyway, since the day was originally scheduled to be held. I'm not even ready to knick my ild man's heas off, and we bickered for half the day. Now I get to go home and do laundry, then hit the gym.
It's amazing what can happen when you don't suck at your job.
