I am now afraid of my tablet, because it reminds me of two weeks ago.

This happens with every thing I interact with.

I really should avoid having kids.

"AHH EXODIA THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE NO ONE'S EVER BEEN ABLE TO SUMMON HIM"

"Really? Is that because it's so rare?"

"No it's because this game makes no sense nobody could figure out how to do it."

"Nobody but ME!"

Double posting because Kaiba can screw the rules.

So I spent all of my weekend dreading this job I'm doing this week, which was to be a major install. Originally spec'd out at 5 plasma tvs being removed from one spot, mount and all, aling with some video conference equipment and associated cables to make everything work, and re-install it all at another site.  This was upgraded on site to 8 plasmas, 3 rooms worth of video conferencing equipment, and cable boxes to be removed from one site and be reinstalled minus 2 tvs at the other site. Sounds daunting, right?

As of today, 4 tvs are mounted, the 3 rooms of video conferencing equipment are set up and operating minus network connecticity (which time warner was putting in today alongside of us), and no one is (very) angry or injured or tired. We're so ahead of schedule that my father and I left 2 hours early, and our associate who's suffering from a pretty nasty toothache (crown's failing or some shit) spent all day not raging in pain. Tomorrow's gonna take a total of 3 hours, assuming I sit on my ass for 2 of those hours. Best part is I'm probably getting paid for 4 days anyway, since the day was originally scheduled to be held. I'm not even ready to knick my ild man's heas off, and we bickered for half the day. Now I get to go home and do laundry, then hit the gym.

It's amazing what can happen when you don't suck at your job.

TASTY!

Holy shit is Google scummy.
They just asked me if I wanted my Real name on Youtube or my Youtube name on Google.
Then there's the "Don't do anything. Keep this shit separate" written in small in the corner pretty much hidden there.
That's a jerk move Google.

Google has been pushing the real name thing for a while now.  It's really quite obnoxious.  Their business used to be based on aggregate statistics.  Yes they always tracked people, but it didn't matter who a person was so long as they had something to distinguish unique individuals.  Knowing that people are X% likely to do Y was good enough for them.  But now they really seem to want to know everything about each individual.  Google Plus is perhaps the ultimate manifestation of that, and it's astoundingly creepy.

Well, at least to me it is.  But then I'm the kind of person who wouldn't even touch Facebook with a 10ft pole, and I feel increasingly like a dying species.  Most people seem to have no qualms about spilling their personal information all over the internet these days.

If you google my real name you get nothing about me, and that's how I want to keep it.

Googling my name seems to Autofill "Balloon Dog"

"Greig McCallum Balloon Dog"

I don't think I've ever mentioned a balloon dog. Safe to say it isn't me.

Obviously RPGfan is in the top results. For all my prolific work here.

I use a pseudonym online. Thus if any employer searches for me online they will find nothing.

Besides that I don't really mind if people find anything about me, it's not like my life's all that exciting, and I'm not nearly important enough to have skeletons in my closet worth mentioning. Except that hobo I ran over in Atlantic City.

I'm the same, I got little to hide, but I'd still be worried about being tracked for even general likes and interests -- not necessarily stigmatizing, but changing perception of how an employer might see me.
