So, after a mostly good day of watching Battlestar Galactica I made the stupid, STUPID mistake of getting into an argument on a Facebook thread about the Zimmerman case. After the usual frustration and disgust that I get from dealing with morons who think making up random shit is better than paying attention to available evidence and my frustration and disgust at myself for getting into that argument in the first place and then spending an extended period of time responding to those morons, I decided to take a shower to help wash off some of the digust.
WELL! It turned out that a Spider Knight (scorpion: a spider with armor and a lance) had conveniently decided to defy the law of gravity and hide out on my (hanging) bath towel so he could launch an assassination attempt when I used said towel on my back after the shower.
So now I'm monitoring the swelling on my back AND the swelling in my throat to see just how allergic I am since it's the first time I've been stung by one. (If you're wondering, I have a history of severe allergies to everything but animals and meat, so, yes, verifying how much my throat is going to swell is a precursor for going to the hospital, rather than simply noting that my throat is swelling.) Meanwhile I will watch Battlestar Galactica some more.
