Currently trying to prepare a four hour lecture for elementary teachers while nursing a hangover.

I'm not very motivated, and I may just go to my class and sleep.

Too be fair, the elementary school teachers are probably hungover too.

The amount of time it took me to stop laughing proves that I should probably be sleeping right now.

Dice, is that a Gogo avatar?

Dice, is that a Gogo avatar?

Tis not.

It's Guillo from Baten Kaitos II.  S/he has a cool wo/man voice that's always the most amusing thing to listen to.

Geez, everyones coming to Scotland next year. Ya'll who are coming should arrange to come at the same time, and we can rent out a cabin or something somewhere central. Since A) Me no drive and B} Me house is not something I would be happy with people witnessing. :P

Where central? Last time I stayed just outside Edinburgh proper.

That's a good place, so round about that area. I live in the middle of nowhere, so its just a long commute to anywhere interesting.

When I go to Scotland I'm going to live in a shack on a cliff and just wear a heavy wool sweater, drink Scotch, and look at the ocean

Man, I want to go to Scotland, too! I imagine it costs a shit ton of money, though. Any kind of real travel does. I've never been out of the states before, but if I ever do make it out, Scotland is in my top 3 places to visit.
Hell, I've never even been on a plane before, so that would be an adventure in itself. A slightly terrifying one, I imagine.

Yeah, a Scotland trip is pretty expensive. The flight and hotel portion are between 1500-2000 per person depending on what kind of hotel you stay at and when you go. If you know someone with frequent flyer miles that is will to sell them cheaper you might be able to go for as little as 900. Then of course you need money while there, which is a ridiculous conversion rate, so expect to spend another good chunk on that. My last trip a couple years ago cost me about 2500 when all was said and done.

Ask Mongoosey if he'll make his home a B&B for all you Scot-bound 'Fanners. :P

I would of course, but it's up to them, they probably want something a little more worth their flight money than what my humble house could offer.
