I am paranoid about overheating and killing my shredder.  I have done that to a few shredders.

The boxes of stuff never ends.  Traded my book/games in for credit at a store.  Have over $300 worth of credit.  Unfortunately when you make purchases you can only use 50% credit.  I can't imagine spending $600 on used stuff so I extended the use of my credit to my family and bf.  Way too much credit.  I guess I could of gotten cash, but that's always way less than credit.

So I found my ps2 in a box.  I even have a game boy advance sp and a GameCube.  Not sure if I should keep them.  I keep games I like out of sheer fondness, not to replay.   I think my Super Nintendo is somewhere in the attic.  With hd tv's I don't think I can even hook it up.   Should I keep them for nostalgia's sake?  Hmm.

Nah it's useless. Shred the hell out of it!

Super Nintendos hook up to HDTVs just fine, you just can't you a Super Scope. But then again, who in their right mind uses a Super Scope?

(Well, okay, I used to play those Super Scope 6 games for hours on end, but I'm like super headache resistant, so I don't count!)

I loved my Super Scope 6 when I got it back in the day...but I can't really see myself using it now, no.

So... ummm.... I wrecked my car and need to buy a new one. Head on over to the bazaar to check out the goodies I'm selling to help fund the wheels.

Klyde - Wow you made those?  They are pretty cool.

Well today I went to the NASCAR nationwide series O'reilly Autoparts challenge race.  It was my first professional race.  The race was really loud, but the headsets help damper the noise.  Actually I fell asleep for a bit since the sound lulled me to sleep.  I fell asleep at a concert once  (Modest Mouse).  Yeah, I can't believe  it either.  Anyways, tomorrow I go to the NASCAR Sprint Cup AAA Texas 500.

A year or two ago I actually had a thread here in general discussion where I posted my creations. They have evolved a bit since then but yes, they are my little monstrosities. I make more of them then a I can stomach (due to demand) to be honest with you... I have routine clients that buy them for the holidays so the volume I turn out always goes up this time of year. I'm grateful people like them but unlike tattooing, which is pretty much all fun for me, these little creatures are TEDIOUS to craft!! LoL

Went down(over?) to Indianapolis to support Nans running in the Monumental Marathon there. It feels kind of like a little Chicago, except cleaner, and less congested. I was actually impressed with the cities efforts in regards to recycling, and environmental concerns. Good job, Indianapolis!
My son and I enjoyed the zoo, and adjacent gardens, while she ran. Both were very nice, and not crowded at all, which surprised me. Heck, we had the gardens to ourselves, which is good and bad, I guess.
It's a beautiful day today, so I need to try and catch up on garden chores and such.

Went camping overnight! I went with a bud and we went to Wayne National Forest near Marietta, OH. It was both of ours first time camping, and while we didn't prepare adequately for how cold it got at night, we had a great time. Can't wait to do it again during the warmer months.

I took it upon myself to do something new and started studying Japanese. I'm doing this for a few reasons: A) I love Japan and hope to visit B) It'd be fun to import old games and understand the basics C) I believe you either learn or die. The brain is a use it or lose it organ. I figure if I can devote at least 1/2-1 hour a day of self study in any subject I'd be doing good.

So I got a few workbooks on sat to practice Hiragana characters. It's fun so far.

If anyone has recommendations for a workbook that teaches and has practice spaces for Hiragana characters let me know. The one I have is ok but it's a bastard to put in the copier to make a duplicate. A spiral bound one would be stellar.

I'm trying to do my best in first making sure I can write the characters properly, from what I understand they take that seriously.

Will I ever be fluent? Someday maybe but this seems a more reasonable attempt than trying to learn piano, guitar, or trying drawing again. (Drawing is a lost talent of mine. I'll stick to photography).
