Funny, I used to live in OH and never knew of it until I moved to Denver. Microcenter is amazing. :D

Last day of work before the holiday.
Pretty much everyone in the whole company took the day off.

So here I am, at my desk, alone, with speakers, listening to my Ar Tonelico CDs full blast.

uga uga and fuwa fuwa on the WHOLE FLOOR.

=)

To me, this is the best work day of the year.

Yeah, I'm at work, too, before having 9 days off. I thought the office would be empty today, but there's actually some people here. Not much work getting done, though. I'm just cleaning up my office a bit so I don't come back to piles of plans all over the place.

I have to work on the 26th, 27th, and 30th. There's a good chance I'll be working from home because most of the EVERYONE ELSE is on vacation.

I have to work as well after Xmas as well, but I have to get ready for teaching public school teachers on Jan. 2nd. :/

Today though, I'm sitting at my desk watching Christmas specials and work is taking us out for lunch today.

Christmas duck! :D

I think I'll go to half price books tomorrow because I know it's open till at least six.

There's a very good chance I will not be leaving my apartment from Wednesday through Friday.

blurf.

--- edit ---

Does this look like Frank Zappa (or maybe lemmy kilmister) to anyone else?

Oh well, I'm hungry. Better go to bed.

Visiting Hugh's mother will forever consist of her trying to prove that no one will be as good as his mummy.

I'm in hell.

Christmas Eve. Yay. Came up SUPER fast this year. Going to my Aunts house around 6:30 for dinner and presents. My son is all bouncy bouncy, so we are going to see Hobbit 2 after lunch. That will kill 3 hours.
My poor dog keeps following me around waiting for me to take him for a walk. It's friggin' 2 degrees out, so he has to wait. Sad dog is sad.
It's kind of strange that we have nowhere to go on Christmas day this year. Nan decided to make a full Christmas dinner just for the 3 of us. We have a big old turkey and everything. We'll be eating turkey sammiches for days! Yum.

That is a bummer man.. I purposely made sure my schedule is clear for the 26th and 27th to ensure I can actually enjoy actively relaxing on christmas. I may not have getting drunk on the agenda, but working directly following a holiday certainly proves stifling in regard to the "fun-factor".

Now if it were half a decade ago, getting drunk would be on the agenda, and the scenario you described would REALLY suck IMO.

You have my sympathy. Have a few extra tonite.. and then a few extra more for me!-LoL

In my realm....

Last tattoo done before christmas!! woo-hoo!!! I will not being touching a pen, pencil, tattoo tube, ink bottle, paint brush or anything other than a game controller (if I can help it...) for a few days.

EDIT: I never really got the whole koi fish craze....

Ugh, I can't sleep. Again. It's the deadlines I guess. Same workload, less workdays because of the holidays. That just sucks and I'm all stressed out, my heart is pounding and I just can't get to sleep.

Oh yeah, and I'm supposed to be anemic all of sudden (I don't feel like it and I certainly wasn't less than a week ago), but I don't trust the test. You know, the one where they prick your finger? Aren't those unreliable when blood circulation there isn't all that great? Like, when you've got Raynauds or just because you've got a fairly low bloodpressure, it's winter and your fingers are like icicles? Still a source of stress, though. Not because it's my health and blablabla, but because the whole thing is like a puzzle and I don't have the means to solve it.
