I tried to quit RPGFan once.  It lasted less than a month.
Games I've given Editor's Choice to:
Ever 17, Hourglass of Summer, Anachronox, Persona PSP, Radiant Historia, To The Moon, Revolution 60

As I was busy abusing the hell out of my body today (again) the thought occurred to me... I haven't seen Yoda on here in quite awhile. I miss him. Good peoples he was/is. I hope he is enjoying the Lunar games he bought from me...

Er unlikely coming back.  He's on a "full cleanse" of some sorts from our turf.
I wonder if any of that's from me?

I doubt it. Who knows what the reason was.

Then I shall continue my cheeky shenanigans unabated!

Anyways, haps. I was working at Troy Burch's new NY office today. For those of you not familiar with said name, she's a big fashion designer. I really only know of her for shoes and handbags from a quick google search, but w/e. It's pretty cool in theory working at all these high end fancy shmancy places, but it's always the same deal. Enter through a hole in the wall loading dock, do the same cat6 cable ends, hang a bunch of TVs and speakers, mount converter hardware, test everything, leave before anyone cool comes in. At least the pay's good :)

I somehow managed like 2 years, but I also was not playing video games at the time so it made it easier. As soon as I started playing games again last year, I came right back like an abused dog to its owner :P

I don't try to quit, I just don't play games for a while and spend some time in a foreign prison and the time to post and browse just really gets away from me.

trying to slowly build up a 3DS collection (and older DS games that I've missed out on), and my question is: Why on earth is New Super Mario Bros. (for DS) still priced at $39.99 everywhere I go??? This is what...a 7-8 year old game at this point?

Do Nintendo games just not drop in price or something? geez.

I have stopped checking dating sites. I don't know if it is me, them, a combination of two, or what, but I can't find anyone that is interested in me beyond the first few dates. The ones that i have a lot of things in common with just want to be friends. The ones I have less in common with just stop talking to me. Thats when people actually respond. Which happens 1 out of 40 times, at best. I need more cats.
All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.

Nope. Not sure how they get away with it, either.
My Blog - It's about gaming stuff. You can read it if you want. No pressure. I mean, there's a link there you just have to click on, but... y'know... whatever.

At which point I remember there was a time when I wore khakis to work, before I gave up and just started dressing like a lumberjack again. I don't remember then when or why of this.

I am an ill-defined object.

The same way Disney does, I guess: quality and kids that want the real thing.

I heard from a gameshop owner Nintendo games are fairly expensive compared to games from other publishers, which meant they would lose money quickly if they dropped prices to bargain levels. Not that they ever really needed to. Demand was always consistent, even at that higher price, so there was no need to quickly move copies of the shelves. They'd sell 'em like that for years, sometimes a whole console generation.

It's like the Square tax.

Only it's actually worth it (dohohohohoho)

--- edit ---

Drank a week-old cold-pressed coffee, over the space of a few hours. Drank nothing /but/ coffee today I'm realizing now. Hitting with all the muscle spasms and paranoia that entails.

Sometimes people are simply unreal. Suspended an employee today for tardiness and a no call/no show...her excuse was she didn't feel good anyway and another employee told her it was OK to take off work. WTF, who is the supervisor here, jesus.
