I still struggle with body dysmorphia, but whatever.  I gotta get stronger, gotta get leaner, gotta get endurance-ier.

For what it's worth, I think you're amazing. I've only seen pictures, but you've changed to much the past decade.

The same goes for Agent D., by the way. Whenever he mentions the weights he's lifted, I try to imagine how much that is. Like, three mes. Or one of those ponies I used to ride when I was little. I can't help but be impressed.

Appreciate the kind words, sister.

I'm also one of those weirdos who, when I dislike what I see in the mirror, I use that to fire me up to improve.  Most people let that drag them down.  I like to think of myself as the guy who's always trying to work a disadvantage to his favor.

EDIT: for the past couple months I've been doing 100-125 calf raises a night as part of my bike-a-thon training.  I hope it's enough.  I haven't been getting outside as much as I'd like since this month has been very rainy.  I still put in my time on the indoor trainer, but it's not the same.  I'm fiending for hill climbs like you couldn't believe.

You can brag about your 5000+ friends on social media all you want, but riddle me this: how many of them would help you move?

The company doing the clearing of the land is pissing me off. They haven't started clearing like they were supposed to. I have been assured it will start by Friday. We are a week behind though. I know they factor in delays but fuuuuuuu
All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.

Huh...that was surreal.

Apparently I've become so cynical about my own work that seeing two random purchasers on my revenue history prompted the immediate thought of "...who the heck is buying this and why?"

I'm actually legitimately curious who dug deep enough in the bowels of Amazon to even find those Ebooks. Must've been a very boring Sunday.

The haps is I had some chicken.

Yep, that's basically it.

You know what really grinds my gears? Like really really bad???

When I go to a troubleshooting job to fix what should be a simple problem...literally hit EVERY possible culprit to said problem, have to call in a specialist to web access my laptop to read code in a fucking processor...then get told "Oh, we might have unplugged something last time we were in there" and find out that the reason an entire room is fucked is because one guy botched his job and said nothing.

5 hours, waste of time.

TASTY!

We are now  being told that clearing can't begin because an ecological study needs to be performed because of a small patch of wet lands. It could take a week. It could take 3 months. Fuuu

So I bought Overwatch because my friends pressure me into it. I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise.
Turns out I suck majorly at the game, but now I'm playing it in hope of getting better and not sucking.
That's not working because I'm still as terrible even with 30 hours or so in.

So now, I bought I game I didn't want and playing it just makes me angry, but I keep playing because I don't want to be that terribad guy when I play with my friends.
This is all completely unhealthy.

And yet, its a more common story than you think. I know so many people who were dissatisfied with the beta and still ended up getting convinced by friends or the general public to buy the game anyway. Of all the AAA games throughout the years, I don't think I've ever witnessed the level of infectious hype that Overwatch has reached.

I discovered something amazing! Nightmares are a lot less scary when viewed from a third-person perspective. That zombie thought she could sneak up to me, but I could see her without even having to turn around. Shooting a bow this way feels weird, though, so I may have to consider a new weapon... And okay, the new perspective didn't change the fact that the zombie was my sister and I was about to shoot her in the face, so... Yeah.

Oh I've been playing Blizzard games long enough to know that you stand absolutely no chance in those games if you just stroll in, you are most definitely going to be eviscerated by someone because there in every Blizzard game.

And yet even then I'd still probably have a blast playing it, looks about as thoroughly Blizzard as Blizzard goes.

I've gotten used to the fact that sometimes Nightmares aren't all that bad...

I know what you mean. The ones that are basically just a bunch of monsters aren't so bad. I've acquired so many tricks over the years, fighting back has gotten easier and easier, and sometimes these dreams even turn into something fun. The worst are the nightmares that can't be 'solved' with violence...

On my club ride today, I was going to go with the C+ group, but they had too many people and the short-distance B group had few... so I decided I would try to push myself and go with the faster paced group; faster pace than what I'm used to.  I kept up pretty well, though the heat was rough on all of us.  I went through 3 water bottles (4 if you count the one I downed driving home).  37 miles, I was hurting a little at the end but am good now.  And, knock on wood, my knee doth not protest badly.  I'm so glad I pushed myself, broke plateau and can now cal myself a B rider.

When I rode the C rides, the ride leader always called us "future A riders." That may be a longshot right now, but I'm not going to say never just yet. A wise woman once said to me, "You only say you can't AFTER you've tried. And even then, try again." I feel the best I've felt in a long time, though. Like my life is back in a very positive direction (cycling and otherwise), and today just punctuated that.

I feel like Nightmares sometimes tell us interesting about ourselves or the world or thoughts I don't know... it's weird, the bad ones are the ones that are kind of explicitly physical sort of like you are being hunted or something.

But like, generic apocalpyse situation, hmm might be ok!

Anyway the haps is I got that Pitch Black Mountain Dew..... I like the regular Mountain Dew better. =-)
