I've been playing FF The 4 Heroes of Light for a couple of days now and I need a map.  I was in the second town, the one with the pirates. I left pirate cove having defeated the pirate captain, took a wrong turn and started wandering about.

I came across another town but I am not able to access it yet, apart from the shops and inn. So I saved my game there. When I restart the game I start from this town and I can't find my way back to pirate cove. I have been wandering for hours, so much so that my hero's are now up to level 20.

Does anyone know if there is a detailed map of  The 4 Heroes of Light world. Otherwise the game will not get finished.

It only got released a couple days ago. Give it a few more days and you'll probably have a rough FAQ up somewhere.

You're all liars, you know the Japanese already have a super-mega-ultimate-ultima-dirge-edition strategy guide that has all of the maps in complete detail for this game.  I tried to google it but it led me here...

I'm guessing you're in Urbeth. Head south, go back through the cave, then keep heading south and you'll end up back in Liberte.

Man, if you can't ask for RPG help on an RPG fan forum, where can you ask for it?

Ask away.  :)

Indeed, it is a legitimate question.

Nonetheless, I ADORE Thoren's map. Saving it for future use. :)

I call "fake" on Thoren's map. It fails to mention the Graveyard of Deceased Search Engines that lies between the castle and the hills. Foolish adventurers without preparation will sink into the Altavista Mire or be slaughtered by the wandering ghost of Sir Percival "Ask" Jeeves.

He's obviously an an agent of darkness and has sold you all this faulty map so that you will fall prey to these perils.

I recently came a cross a far more complete map of the Internet, but it's probably far less useful in this case. :)

Liz, I spent far too much (or not enough) time looking at that map.  Thanks for the link.

The Lycos salt flats
The Lair of Spidey the Undead Webcrawler
Or the InfoSeek Lagoon

this is much more fun than it should be...
