I hope Mega man Legends 3 is still gonna happen now :(

What? Because Inafune left? It's still happening if you'll go look over the blog. Honestly I think it's the best thing that could happen for the game.

I'm pretty sure Inafune did a lot of important decisions for the project before leaving Capcom.

Yeah, I have high hopes for this game.  Just annoying that I can't find a decent copy of MML 1 and 2 for a decent price.  Somebody stole MM1 from me about 10 years ago :(

I am really hoping for PSN releases of 1 and 2.  I hate myself for getting rid of MML2 years ago.  I got stuck at some fort where I had to shoot dozens of enemies out of the sky, and ended up shelving it, and eventually selling it.  I'd definitely play it to completion if I ever get another chance.

MML1 was a solid game that left a good memory.  Purge all carbons, aw yeah.

Strike that, I forgot they were a Southwest company only. Otherwise I'd have suggestions for where to get MML1 & 2 cheap and in good shape.

Um, MML1 and 2 were fantastic partially BECAUSE Inafune was so heavily involved with their development.  I fail to see how removing him makes the games better?

Call it a hunch as I have no solid proof to back it up. But I'm pretty sure Inafune is no longer the man he was over 10 years ago. Between video I've seen of him recently and some of the things he's said along with the timing of his departure (along with having dealt with artistic-creative types from constantly working with artists & writers and extensive work in the Theater Department for 5 years) he's striking me as having become a slightly bitter director-type who's having a "I quit!" drama fit/creative crisis (albeit a rather quiet and modest one compared to some of the stinkers lesser men have thrown).

Someone undergoing that phase will only drag a project down. Regardless of if they're a fresh face or the veritable honored grandfather of the project's inception. Inafune removing himself from the project is sparing MML3 from being locked into that fate.

He left Capcom because he doesn't agree with their policies, not because he's throwing a tantrum.

Actually, I think Inafune's detractors are the ones more likely to throw tantrums.

Frankly, I think it's both.

Well, that's true.

Why is there no thread dedicated specifically to this game yet!? Well anyways Capcom seems to be putting a "Prototype" Version of the game out on the eShop when it launches. Which means I need 250 dollars now.

Here's the article. http://www.1up.com/news/mega-man-legends-prototype-coming-alongside-3ds-eshop

I don't have a link handy, but has anyone else checked out the jp trailer? Seriously looks just like the original legends, with extra stuff. I'm not disappointed, but I do feel that the graphics could be tweaked a bit ya know?
