Its a matter if personal preference I guess, but I still say MM Legends isn't worth all the fuss. This is basically an invitation for Capcom to make a half assed game and overcharge for it because people will now blindly buy it just for the sake of "getting their way".
I personally do not give a crap about MML3, but for fans of the series this is a major blow. The second game ended on a major cliffhanger and the fans have waited nearly a decade for the conclusion. They get so close and then it gets canned out of nowhere....Yeah I'd be pissed too.

I wouldn't call it a "major cliffhanger"; more of a Gekko Ending. Really about the only things not covered in the game is Trigger being on the moon (but between Roll and Tron working on the problem that's pretty much practically resolved) and the reactivation of the Master System. But really that's no more a cliffhanger than ending a normal Megaman game by saying "And Wily escaped...again." Just means that if there's another game you'll be fighting another set of themed bosses.
Don't get me wrong; I love MML. But there was nothing really cliffhangery about the ending like some fans seem to make it out to be.

Well okay, I'll admit that they could just leave it as that. Getting stranded in space while waiting for the girls to pick Megaman up isn't that big of a deal.
I suppose the mass Reaverbot activation thing could also be handled by Roll and Tron as well. So yeah, no big deal.

Eh, Tron possible. Roll...

. If she's that dangerous behind the wheel of a slow moving van I wouldn't trust that girl within 100 yards of battle armor. XD
Then again this is the same girl who can simply
send Trigger flying simply by running headlong into him
and who can take a Reaverbot having a several hundred pound Reaverbot thrown in her face, having it explode upon impact, and only get the wind knocked out of her. (No footage found, MML2 thing if you really wanted to be cruel during an escort mission.)

I have to agree in the respect that, although I am a fan of the blue bomber, MML never really did it for me either.... Now if they made a Mega Man X, more maturely themed action RPG with Zero as a playable character.... Well then I would start to get excited.... to a degree.... Fact of the matter is, for me personally, Mega Man belongs in the realm of "awesome platformer" and not anywhere else.... I guess I'm just stuck in the past with this franchise.....

Honestly if you wanted to dig into it a bit you could come up with a rather lengthy list of unresolved questions unanswered between the two games. Like what exactly "is" the Elder system, what'll happen with the developed relationships between characters, standard stuff like that. Back when MML2 came out it probably actually did qualify as a rather decent cliffhanger; however seeing as how lazy the Japanese gaming and anime writing has become these days it's really no more of a cliffhanger than most of the stuff they crap out and either just fail to follow up on or the budget ran out.
Let me try think of a point of comparison...okay; got it (I think). Imagine if the Phoenix Wright series had ended at Justice For All instead of Trials and Tribulations. (Not the over all story mind you, just Phoenix's arc.) There might've been a decent list of questions about "what if" and "well what about what happened at X time period" and so on; but there wasn't exactly any dangling plot threads aside from (just in case)
Code:
DeKiller getting away and never being caught.
Having a sequel wasn't exactly because the story "needed" it but rather there was still plenty of good story to be told and characters to develop. I look at MML3 in the same light.

This poll essentially proves that gamers, as a collective, are the equivalent of an eight year old little princess throwing a temper tantrum over not getting that pony. That's right, if you combine these people into one being, they form Kanye West.
I'm going to go ahead and credit Activision Blizzards high rating to WoW nerds, upset over some "horrible injustice" their blue text oppressors inflicted on them.
EA, well...no surprises there, nor do I particularly disagree on that one. Its a reputations that took years to build up.
What I find as hilarious is that Sony, for instance, leaked millions of credit card numbers and private data, yet Capcom is still higher. Granted, Sony did handle the situation and apologized, but Id say negative backlash towards something like that is a lot more justified than crying over a game that didn't get made.
Capcom is no saint, and they've made some poor choices the last few months. I for one have complained about a lot of these issues and will continue to do so, but lets not get crazy here.

EA's improved a lot over the years. They may still place business over design but they've become more innovative recently.
Activision is headed by Bobby Kotick, so they're assholes until something is done about him. Capcom and SE have been going this route recently and it pisses me off.
I'm also surprised Sony didn't rank higher. Modern brainwashing at its best, I suppose.

Or at the risk of metaphorically hitting someone below the belt I think the poll might have more to do with the fact that GFAQ's main user base is probably not old enough to have a credit card; and as such really didn't get effected by the PS3 incident aside from "Oh, server's down? Next form of entertainment plox."
