Swords are allowed if you wear a metal bikini and/or skirt the size of a belt.
Remember, regarding women in RPGs, the less armor you have on, the better protected you really are.

I'm spechal.  My magic costs 0.000000001 of a single MP.  Making me the winner and ultimate healer.  This fractioned MP is thanks to the magical shield I posses...

Tidus is the most womanliest JRPG hero.

Leon from Tales of Destiny also qualifies then.

Odd thing about tifa.jpg is it's actually a closer representation to her than anything SE made since ff7. After which apparently someone got confused and gave her Rinoa's head and asscape.

Psshuh - thought I'd try it myself.
Included with wonderful non-matching socks!

Credit to the ass cape though, at least it's more intuitive than a lot of NA character designs.
Funny how we'll never see a balance between the whisical but original JRPG designs and the more stoic but down-to-earth WRPG (and etc) designs... at least no time soon.

I'd probably have to go with Paine from FFX-2. Not sure PE is JRPG at all but Aya too. And of course Macha, although I never used her, her frying pan and those "ass hat" attacks.

If you look past Tifa's basketball boobs, you see a very strong and caring woman with a titanium heart and will.  I mean, when Cloud had Mako poisoning and was in a near vegetative state, who kept the midnight (and beyond) vigil with him throughout his ordeal?  For all we know, Tifa probably helped the doctors change and toilet the spiky-haired freak.  You know what?  That's love and dedication right there.  Takes a lot of inner strength too.  Stuff like that is what tests relationships and Tifa showed immense strength of character there.

This is why Tifa rules and simpering weenie chicks like Rinoa and Shion drool.  I've ranted plenty about why I can't stand Rinoa and Shion in lots of earlier threads.
