The slightly slippery tip wouldn't slip into the hole.

Although I am very excited for this, It may cross legal bounds for what we allow on the forums. I'm pretty sure fan translations are at least a grey area.

Well, fan patches aren't illegal as far as I know.
Depends how you get the actual game. They do encourage buying it by giving you the links and translation of the ordering pages.

I was under the assumption that fan translations were illegal because they're modifying the original game without permission from the author. But I'm hardly a legal expert. :) I may well be wrong.

Remember 11: The Age of Infinity is a Japanese visual novel produced by KID, originally released on March 18, 2004 for the PlayStation 2. The game was released for the PC as a part of the Infinity plus on April 4, 2008. Unlike its predecessor, Ever 17: The Out of Infinity, the game was never officially released in English, but a complete English fan-translation exists.

Remember 11 is a part of the Infinity series by KID. The other entries in the series are Never 7: The End of Infinity and Ever 17: The Out of Infinity, both of which take place within the same universe. In contrast to the other two Infinity games and most visual novels, Remember11 does not have a renai focus or plot routes that are based on specific heroes or heroines.

Ever17 is often viewed as a pinnacle of good story.

Wow, not only was my question answered, but by Egyptian diety! Thanks!

Interesting. I've never tried a visual novel. Maybe I'll give one a shot.

Is it an eroge?

I was under the impression none of the series has any adult content.

isn't 12riven also part of this series?
I've started downloading it and I'm guessing I clicked the right link?

Yes, 12riven is part of the series. I'm about 98% sure none of them have any adult content. But I may be wrong.

There's four of them...

--Never 7
--Remember 11
--Ever 17
--12Riven

Are you sure? Because all I'm seeing everywhere are 15+ ratings. In Japan it was only rated C. I'm also not seeing any information about a non-ero version or an edited version.
