They have been, but it's far from a guarantee, Black Mages 3 isn't there. And they can occassionally be outright stupid; it's better to import the FFVII and FFXIII OSTs than to buy them from iTunes, FFVII's especially bad because it's missing ONE random track, which means you have to purchase each track individually for a ridiculous sum, at least XIII has the excuse of removing vocals that might have been a pain to license for the US that weren't in our version anyway.

There's a reason Black Mages 3 isn't there:

Music doesn't belong to Square Enix. Album is on Dog Ear Records label. You can blame Uematsu directly (or at least his label manager Ogawa-san) for not getting on the iTunes train.

Is that DRM-free?

Honestly I've never even used iTunes, but compared to the import price that is mighty tempting.  Of course I probably can't even download it from my Linux machines...

I love Nier's music...but I hate every song on this arranged album except "The Wretched Automations". :P

Every song sold there is DRM free now... which also means that some of the stuff that wasn't converted is just gone now, such as that one FFVII track and the Mother 3 albums.
