Please give me the list of any games that haven't been recommended. :D I'm so itching to get the package in mail. I cannot wait to start with FFX and Kingdom Hearts.
Has Star Ocean: 2nd Story been recommended yet? If not than I recommend that too. It's another good title.

Breath of Fire III and IV (PlayStation).  Breath of Fire IV remains one of my top RPGs, plus it has a gorgeous art style.
I think I mentioned those a few pages back some where but they are definitely good games. I preferred Breath of Fire III over IV though.

Nope, will add that to the list. XD

I just remembered a few more games. The Mana Khemia series and the Atelier Iris series that's about it.

some games I've heard of and read some good things about but are pretty rare:
Magna Carta
Alundra
Kartia
Jade Cocoon
Chrono Trigger/Cross (do you have those listed yet?)
if you like Disgaea:
Soul Nomad
Makai Kingdom
La Pucelle
Phantom Brave (has an enhanced wii version and eventually will be on psp)

edit:
Little King's Story
Shiren
Dokapon Kingdom
Rune Factory Frontier
Tales of Symphonia 2 (only buy it if you love the first)
Baroque (if you happen to try Demon's Souls again and like it, this should be perfect)
I'm mostly just looking through reviews to find potential games

edit again:
Thousand Arms
Vagrant Story
Rhapsody (also on ds)
Threads of Fate
Mana (series)
Tactics Ogre (being remade on psp) and/or Ogre Battle
Saga (series)
Parasite Eve
Lunar (has a metric ton of remakes)
Legaia
Castlevania Symphony of the Night (most legendary game of this series so I feel like i need to mention it)

I remember playing Kartia a long time ago I couldn't stand it. I really can't say I'd recommend it but I don't know he might like it.

Jade Cocoon
I heard some relatively good things about that game but I never got around to getting it.

@Kup: I look up on those titles on Amazon and they seem to be bit pricey. Are they available on PSN for PSP and in Wii store? I like my bank account too much. :P Don't want to break it.

@xXMelancholiaXx: Sweet, thanks again! You sure are knowledgeable about RPGs. XD

@insert: I ordered Final Fantasy Chronicles so I have Chrono Trigger coming here soon. Cannot wait to play it. Thanks for the list. I truly appreciated it.

Well I've been playing JRPGs for about 13 years so I know a thing or two. But I'm sure there are people on here who have been playing longer and know a lot more than I do.

yep yep
I have some more to list, but listing those would probably make me end up naming all games we have reviews of.
http://www.rpgfan.com/reviews.html
you should note that a thing that looks like this means that game is probably awesome and you should at very least put it on your list thingy with something like a star next to it just to make sure you remember it and that it doesn't get lost

@Kup: Sounds like I need to invest in PSP, lol.

@insert: Thanks for the tip. I'll browse through the reviews. Will keep my eye out for that starry logo.

PSP is about the best thing gaming-wise to happen to me in the past year. At this stage of the PSP's life there's tons of great content for cheap.

Yeah the PSP is definitely the way to go in my opinion. The only game I think of that I really want by sides the Megami Tensei games for the DS is The World Ends With You. Seriously that game looks amazing. It has that vivid stylized character design, and eclectic music that made Jet Set Radio so breath taking.

Agreed, I got my PSP when Persona 3 Portable came out and I haven't regretted it. I haven't got tons of games for it but there's lots out there and many I'd still like to get. If you get one you'll find you'll have lots of RPG selection.

Just don't get a PSPGo.
