Sure thing, chief.

I'm sure someone has better tips.

To grind, go to the area of the game where the monsters are a challange but aren't kicking your ass.
It's pretty much rinse and repeat from there. Anytime you feel as though enemies are starting to outclass you just train and get your skills up to par and you should be fine.

Playing Chrono Trigger. Kinda interesting game. The beginning was kinda confusing so I had consult the walkthrough.

Death awaits you!

FFXII had more world to explore.  I loved the busy towns packed with NPCs and shops.  The 'Monster Hunts' were cool - I also mentioned elsewhere that I'm a fan of Ivalice Alliance too.  The character designs were far better in my opinion.  Okay, if it had the battle system of FFX then it would be even better - I'm not suggesting FFX is a bad game.  I just put more into FFXII and had better memories of it.

He's joking with you.

"Death awaits you" is what Seymore says on the battle at Mt. Gagazett, when he uses his annoying insta-death to Aeon spell.

For a second there I thought no one got that. Cheers.

You might also want to check out some let's play as well to give you a visual representation of where to go and what to do. I know HC Bailly has done a complete let's play of Chrono Trigger so if you have any issues you might want to check it out.

I have crappy interwebs, so it has been a little while since I was able to get online
question: which place are you at in FF10?
and also one last (well, maybe last) suggestion for you to research
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growlanser_Generations
I found it next to Growlanser 5 (both around $30, but 10-15 at gamestop) and both are fairly rare so I'm hoping to go back to get it soon.
wikipedia makes it sound like it has an awesome battle system

I mostly pop in occasionally to give my two cents on certain controversial things, so if you disagree then send a PM, because I generally don't check for replies in threads in case I feel like replying and then things get heated/derailed.

Still stuck in South End so I'm trying to grind. Add some stuff in sphere grid for all of the members in party, which helps a lot. However, after Yuna talk to little girl, I got crushed so badly by this huge gator looking mob.

So I'm taking a break from FFX for now because I got tired of South End after playing it for few hours.

I'm currently playing Kingdom Hearts now and I'm on Hercules part now. Also, I'm playing Chrono Trigger now. I've been looking up walkthrough to help me to pass the beginning so I'm good to go.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into that. :)

Kup, that's true. But I wasn't really advance in South End at all so I need a break from it. I thought Kingdom Hearts and Chrono Trigger would be good diversion for me.

Yoda, that's amusing, considering that I used to play lot of FPS back in the days like Unreal Tournament. :P

Indeed. I'd recommend that he stick with Final Fantasy X and maybe Chrono Trigger or which ever are his favorites at the moment. I'm having that problem as well. I have like five RPGs going at once. I decided to slow down and only focus on two.

5 is nothing, I have at least twice that many games unbeaten.
Shogun, which battle system do you like most so far out of those ones you tried so far?

So do I. I simply referring to playing 5 at once.

I like the battle system in FFX but I'm still struggling with it, which sucks. Someone told me to leveling the hell out of Yuna and updating the hell out of sphere grid so we'll see what happen. I'm currently playing Kingdom Hearts right now. Dang, I have to have fast fingers for it but it's pretty fun game so far. I'm in Jungle world now. I love it when I'm sliding down the trees. Wheeeeeee!
