You're just being cryptic again. It's like soap opera sex. Lots of boring dialogue and when they finally do go to bed, everything's dark and covered by blankets.

Besides games, my main thing I do is play music.  I sing and play guitar in a Rockabilly band.  I wish I had more time to put into that = \  We also do some "horror country" I guess you could call it.  Best way to describe it is Chuck Berry meets Johnny Cash meets the Misfits.

I too like to get my programming on.  I started picking up C++ last year when I got laid off from work and enjoyed it enough to start going to college for it this year.

So being heavily into playing music and heavily into games/programming seems to put me in a weird personality conflict with myself.  I'm half social party animal, and half anti-social shut in XD  One of them usually takes over for months at a time and ruins the other.  Someone show me how to be balanced please? lol

So you play in The Cramps?

On Mondays I play D&D. The core group of folks I've known for over a decade now and have gamed with them once a week almost as long. We're finishing up the 2nd year of our current campaign that I'm running but usually campaigns go about a year before we switch games.

On Tuesdays right now my wife and I play in a dodgeball league - Delaware Sports League. DSL is a friendly league and we play 2 seasons of dodgeball in fall/winter, then wiffle ball and kickball in the warmer months. Our team has been together now for 5+ years and we're all good friends - I live in what's called "Trolley Square" in Wilmington DE and we can all walk to each other's houses for the most part.

I program for a living and have for 7 years now so I don't do that much of it at home. That's changed a LITTLE bit since joining RPGFan though, as I do find myself on some Saturdays tinkering with the website now that I've got a test copy set up at home.

Somebody mentioned NaNoWriMo and I have completed that twice. I didn't do it last year but plan to do it this year.

It's a cool group here on the board with all these diverse interests. :-)

My other hobbies aren't that many (though, I don't play video games that much anymore.)

I like watching Korean and Japanese dramas. No, not many are melodramas. Yes, I started watching them for the chicks. I'll admit it.

I like Kpop and Jpop. I spend a lot of time listening to idol groups, watching variety shows with them on, etc. I'm also into Korean rap a lot, and somewhat into Japanese rap (I only like a few groups such as m-flo.)

I used to watch anime and read manga a lot...when good stuff was coming out. Still waiting until I find something worth watching/reading again.

Back to music, I sometimes write comedic rap songs.

I love baseball and football (baseball more.) Playing and watching.

Porn.

Studying Korean and Japanese, and I need Japanese as my foreign language because of my major.

I used to love trolling, but that was when I was younger. It's fun every once in a while though.

Spending a shitload of time on the computer.

I started reading more earlier this year, but in Korean and Japanese. I read so much from textbooks in English that I don't feel like reading novels.

I love toilet papering people. In high school, me and a few of my friends would always TP this kid on a Tuesday night. Fun times.

We have even had interview's with a few cool people like Neil Gaiman and Tim Minchin. It's pretty much cobbled together with fanart, short stories, editorials, reviews and interviews. (Some via internet, a couple at backstage of shows, and one coffee shop run-in).

Very, very jealous. :P

Arrrrgh - that is so so cool.  He was the author who got me to really start reading (I was slow to start).  I'd kill to thank him, and interview him.  BLLLAARRRGHHH

Yeah - does "interneting" qualify as a hobby?

Hehe, yeah. We had a list as long as our arm filled with people's little messages to him. It was very exciting though. :)

I hope Interneting is a hobby, it always looks good to have more hobbies on your resume.

I have to add "curling up into a ball on unnaturally cold nights" to my list. Because dammit, my genes weren't built for this weather!

Forgot to add room decorating too. I love making a place "home" so my room is always a work in progress. This year it's a sort of pink... red... Nuri in wonderland...thing. I also hug stray cats. Reasonably clean-looking stray cats (though cats are generally quite clean creatures, owner or not).

I'm a petit girl who doesn't fatten up in the Winter.  I do consider this as much as a hobby and a necessity.  Fuck fashion come winter, I'd actually kill to wear my big comforter blanky to school because it's so nice and warm.

I actually think winter is a really fashionable season (boots and coats and earmuffs and an excuse to wear SNOW GOGGLES)! :D

Although I admit- if it was socially acceptable, I would bring a hot water bottle to my morning lectures.

What is socially unacceptable about bringing a hot water bottle to class?  I have a feeling I just don't know what it is.

I find blankets in public for warmth are more frowned upon.. =(

I'd much rather look silly and be comfortable.

I went to the Winter Classic game at Wrigley a few years ago. I was bundled up big time w/ wool everything under my main clothes. Even had cardboard to put my feet on so they're not resting on cold concrete

I don't really have any hobbies, because everything I do, I take as seriously as if I was a professional, and sometimes do make money at it. For one, I'm a video producer by trade, but I feel like I'm actually a better composer/music producer, there's just no money for it in this town. Games are my only hobby, really, the rest is serious business. I'm coming down the home stretch of completing an album with my girlfriend right now, the tracks are here (but the moment I send this off to a mastering house, you aren't going to be able to download them anymore):

http://music.ericbarker.com/Channelwood/

I'm in three bands (including Channelwood, which we do gig around from time to time). I write a lot of tunes, play piano and bass, and have to pack my Toyota Camry with all my equipment.

I'm busy as FUCK at work because my assistant just QUIT (anyone want to move to Alaska and be a video producer for a small-town TV station?), right in the middle of a crazy political season and November sweeps, it's crazy.
