You know... I don't think my father would approve of me dating the undead, and you're probably too nice a zombie-pirate for me anyway. Let's just be friends instead.

How the fuck is ANY of the DDS soundtrack smooth jazz?

I don't mean literally lol but this definitely reminds me of it

I can't fucking find a track for mirabel on youtube.

To hell with it!

I believe you want Svadisthana or Manipura.

I can see why one would classify it as jazz-esque, but God I love that chill music.

^Fine choice.

Also, if you know your Hinduist lore, DDS is buried in all kinds of symbolism.

I don't. I recognize some very Hindu names but besides Nirvana I don't know what they mean.

Aren't most of the demons based on entities from most of the word religions as well?

If the game had some sort of codex it'd vault it into even greater heights.

Yes, the demons are from various world religions: Hinduism, Paganism, Norse, European, Chinese, you name it.

As for DDS, it revolves around the Hinduist notions of death, rebirth, a never ending cycle. It's hard to summarize without going into a long diatribe. For now just enjoy the ride.

I wish I got a copy w/ a manual. I feel like I'm missing out on some points not covered in the hint boxes that pop up in the beginning.

Great fucking game though. And yes, I'm warming up to the music
