When my friend post her status about her experience in Minecraft on FB, I just had to pick it up because it was still in alpha stage and the price goes up after 20th so it's good time to do that.

As an avid WoW player, I find Minecraft to be very refreshing since it's not about epeen contest, gear heavy game, and bound by quests. I remember my first time in Minecraft, I was trying to build the shelter since it was getting dark then I was attacked by damn spiders.

Then my friend invite me to join her server with her other friend and they had build this huge castle, which was so neat. It's so cool for me to run around, attacking the mobs for lulz, building tools and shelter, and just have plain good times.

I play it every now and then because I don't want to OD'd myself on it like me with WoW. But Minecraft is just plain awesome sauce. :D

I think Mojang want to put it on the arcade, but there are no official plans as far as I'm aware.

From what I've played of it, Minecraft is a great building tool, but a pretty average game.

This is out on XBLA for 20 dollars, way too much for me for a sandbox toy.

I tried the trial and it seems fun, but again way too pricey for me.

Yeah, I'm way too used to all the perks of the PC version to dive into this, though being able to play with way less lag would be nice.

splitscreen is fun. My friend spent a good amount of time building a shelter and I took it apart before nightfall :)
