I usually never bat an eyelash at these kind of indie games but this looks fucking amazing. These are the kind of concepts that Game Developers need to be exploring.

Ah! Forgot to mention Reives... do let us know of the release of the soundtrack so I can nerdly blog about it on my game music blog. :D I'm always looking for indie game developers to blog their game's soundtrack about.

Google skips words like "the" and maybe even "to" by default, I believe.

ahh, nevermind.
Hm yeah, apparently Google does look at those, but they may still not weight as much. How did you find out? By trying it out or finding some info on it? o:

And thanks guys. @Wild Armor: Speaking of soundtrack, I just finished a new song for it today. Most songs from the soundtrack are more video gamey (though still with orchestral instruments, as shown in the demo reel), this one's a bit more cinematic in style for a special scene. I don't get to write this type of music often for games, so it was pretty refreshing to do. c:

Reives, I must buy this! I'm quite indifferent to Quintessence, but since playing The Mirror Lied I've been hooked on your storytelling, especially when it's ambiguous, surreal or abstract. Looking forward to this game!

It's rare that I get excited for an RPGM game (to be honest, every RPGM game I've played this year has either been meh or was technically good but lacked the "it" factor) but this is one game I've been anticipating this year.  Considering what I've seen in Quintessence and The Mirror Lied, my expectations need to fill some big shoes.

The vocal song snippet in the middle of the trailer is quite lovely.

Many thanks, folks. Today was the first day of the press release, and things turned out rather pleasantly! Or rather, I'm still waiting on that backlash, heheh. It was very fortunately featured at numerous sites including TigSource, RPS and Indie Games blog, and got the trailer posted on Gamespot. It's pretty exciting since it's my first time with relatively large press exposure! I'll be working hard in the next couple of months to meet the expectations.

Edit: Oh, here's an interview for those who would like some more info on the game:

I have to be honest with you, I thought this was yet another generic RM monstrosity when I saw the screenshot. Was very surprised at how effective the trailer was, half way through I was already thinking about buying the game.
Out of curiosity, your inspiration wouldn't happen to be the pixar movie "Up" would it?

I saw this trailer and thought it looked great. I'll have to wait on the reviews though; I don't usually go for visual novels.

I can count the number of download-only games I've bought on one hand (four of them). But I suspect this may just well be my fifth...

I wish I could have paid money for Quintessence, so buying this game is the least I can do.

Of course, the game itself also sounds great.  Not sure I can handle another soul wrenching experience, but I'm gonna try.
