The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.

Indy- I figured that, but it doesn't stop me/us from wishful thinking, ya know?

Maxx- yes, it is an RPGM game, but it's one of the best out there.  The freeware stuff by the dev is pretty slammin' too.

Wonderful reviews Neale and Dave! I'm really impressed by Reives' work, he's a brillant developer which main focus isn't make flow of cash but delivering the best of his passion and emotions. That's why he crafted such a magnificant jewel.

Keep going Reives! (p.s, it's Elder) You deserve all the recent success stories I've read everywhere :D

About the XBox port it's not impossible and I was also putting effort on this.

Wow, this looks really awesome!  I may have to buy this one.  The animation makes me very happy :)

Thank you guys. c: I hope ya enjoy the game if you get to try it! And thanks to Dave & Neal for the write-up; I really appreciate it.

I'd totally be up for a game/soundtrack giveaway event for this community, by the way. Any ideas that'd be more fun than a random lottery draw?

OH GEEZ WHY'D YOU HAVE TO GO THERE?! :(

Just got this game today. Yay to the joys of Parallels for the Mac! I am intrigued by the origami bunnies (though I suspect it will have something to do with the rabbit in the moon myth).

I just finished it. You know, it's always nice when I read a few good reviews for a game, set up high expectations, and then end up having those expectations met.

Definitely one of the best stories I've experienced from a video game, right up there with Metal Gear Solid 4 and Nier. It's kind of similar to Inception and Satoshi Kon's Millennium Actress.

I posted everywhere about the game but in it's own thread! I actually played through it in just a couple days, which is quite an accomplishment for me, even for a 5 hour game. It was just that engrossing. I HAD to know what was going to happen! I found the gameplay side of the game to be pretty weak, but I really didn't care. The story is the heart of the game, and it is magnificent. Totally tugs at the heart, too. I dare people to not at least get a little misty towards the end there. I suppose life experience could dictate how you react to the story. It may not affect some of you younger folks the way it did me.

Ditto...

Lucca, you bitches and your Parellels! But that would require me purchasing Windows 7 (or some Windows), and I'm not shelling out $250. In any case, my Macs are work horses. I don't mind putting a few games on them, but installing huge arrays of OSes and drivers is out of the question.

What I think would be great is an iOS release, like with Ash. iOS/Android is prime realestate for indy developers. Reives should take advantage of this!

IF they can. This is an RPGMaker game, so they may be bound to Windows like it or not. With that said I imagine it's a fairly simple engine to emulate in function, given Zeboyd games and Ash, and it isn't unheard of for indie RPGMaker games to be remade into the developer's own engine (Corpse Party).
