Breath of Fire III PSP Save Problem

I recently purchased Breath of Fire III for the PSP awhile ago and needless to say I’ve been having no end to frustration. Every time I start up the game it keeps telling me “Insufficient space on Memory Stick Duo” “Game requires 192 KB of free space to save data.” Now of course I made sure to check and see if I had enough memory but I didn’t see any particular problem with my memory stick. In fact I had surplus of memory. The first memory stick I bought was 4 GB after all. Irate yet determined I decided to purchase yet another memory stick this time a 16GB one, same problem. Has anybody else had this problem with the PSP version of Breath of Fire III? All the other games I’ve played Persona, Persona 3 Portable work just fine and I have no issues saving my game at all.
