A ton of greatest hit titles are 30-50% off on Amazon as well, and they aren't even lightning deals. Amazon wins in my book this year.

I think they're trying to do some damage control by having so many awesome deals. Just FYI, someone self-published a how-to manual on Pedophilia and Amazon refused to take it off their site claiming to do so would be censorship. Here's a link:

Today's Steam deals include Torchlight for $5 - if you haven't played it, it's absolutely worth buying, ESPECIALLY for just $5.

Oh my. I hadn't heard about that. Makes sense that they'd want to try and save face somehow.

Oh yes, I forgot another deal that really shouldn't have been considering the site's history:
Lunar: Silver Star Harmony LE for $18.03 on Amazon
. Apparently the price had been gradually dropping too, so if you want to take a risk you can just keep waiting.

Ash, an iOS game we recently gave a pretty darned good review to, is free today. Reportedly, they've issued a patch since our review that addresses our biggest complaints, so it should be even better now, and did I mention "free?"

Steam is having some sort of friendship package thing for games. EX. 40$ for 8 copies of Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2.
That is fucking insane, considering one copy alone costs like 40$ probably more.
If you have multiple friends that use Steam, you should definitely check out the friend thing deal. I would do it, but none of my friends use Steam..tear.

Don't be too sad. In time, they will all convert. With the ridiculous deals they routinely offer, you'd have to hate free stuff to not join.

Those usually coincide with that game going on sale, or follow the day after the game went on sale anyway. That game specifically had its gold edition go for $15 a few days ago if I recall correctly.

I was just on Amazon making my yearly Child's Play purchase when I discovered that Nier has dropped to $20. No way I wasn't going to order it. I'm almost done with LoS so it's good timing.

I found the Truly ULTIMATE deal yesterday as a local video store had PS3's for SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS and 360 Elites for SIXTY-TWO FIFTY. It was a clearance sale to get rid of older models in favor of "slim" units. Needless to say that they were gone within an hour or two but there were also great deals on games. Some up to 75% off. Picked up GoW3 and Bioshock 2 for like eight dollars a pop. Crazy!
