You're just being cryptic again. It's like soap opera sex. Lots of boring dialogue and when they finally do go to bed, everything's dark and covered by blankets.

The game looks great in action. Nice colors, animations, and solid music.

Looks very promising.

Sounds exactly like what I was expecting. I'll get it once its cheap. Nothing ground-breaking, but fun for a while and a nice pace. The new graphical style is great, btw. I hated the old look, but this one is at least pleasing to the eye. The series always reminded me of Breat of Fire, so unless they make a new one of those, I'm sure this will do (once I get it, of course).

Odd, I remember a lot of people here getting psyched for the game's announcement.  Besides Serene above, it seems to have fizzled out...

Fall rush, and I'd wait until the games' been out before seeing whether or not excitement is really gone.

It's also the week of thanksgiving in the states, many people could be out preparing for the trip to the family's house, shopping, and/or simply busy enough not to keep tabs.

On a side note, saw a commercial for it today....30% more excited now. Next tuesday can't come soon enough.

This is exactly what I want right now. I've been playing big western action RPGs, and I just want some fun turn-based, puzzley fun. I absolutely loved the first two games, which had some of the best dungeon design I've ever seen in a 2D game. This will be a day1 purchase for me. In a world of overly-ambitious, destined to disappoint epics, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. We should all be cheering, especially since all the reviews have been pleasantly surprised.

This is just one of those games I have a hard time getting hyped about even though I will inevitably like it a lot once I actually get it.  It's probably because I've heard it doesn't have much innovations compared to the old ones, and I don't really like the new graphics or character art.  Of course, I haven't actually played it and I suspect the graphics will look a lot better when I'm actually playing it (can't say the same for the character artwork).

People was never awesomely excited about the game really, they/we were just happy that a new Golden Sun was being developed (kinda like Sin & Punishment 2).

After all, Golden Sun has always been a nice little game with some followers of the GBA era. Not a "big budget in-your-face" kind of game.

The only reason I'm not talking about it is
A. My copy hasn't shipped yet.
B. I'm avoiding spoilers like the plague.  Hell, I haven't even read anything other than the initial plot details about who the main characters were and how long after TLA it takes place.

I passed on all the others so I don't anticipate picking this up ever. I'm still chugging along on DQIX. I can't remember the last time I was 60 Hours into a game and I was more excited than when I first began it.
