Got EBgames and mall gift cards. I think it's time to hunt down 999.
Speaking of 999, why is it selling for $89 on Amazon?
http://www.amazon.com/9-Hours-Persons-Doors-Nintendo-DS/dp/B003VR5PPY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1293329344&sr=8-1
I was going to buy it, but seriously? Is this game super rare or something? I thought it just came out.

I was in EB a few days ago, and they sold their last copy the day before. They only got like 3 copies in total.
Edit: But that was a super tiny EBGames that's in a high-end fashion mall (the one I work in). I'm going to try to hit up a few bigger EBs tomorrow, failing that I'll check Amazon every day. I'm sure that listing will change, it was like $35 the other day.

Yeah, apparently that's where my parents found the copy for me. A tiny shop I mean, not the one in your mall. :P
Sometimes looking in tiny shops works out better, because no one goes there.
Edit - According to Aksys:
"we're currently sold out as is Amazon, among other retailers, and are currently waiting for our shipment to come in :)
We should be receiving it around January 10th, so prices will return to $34.99 once it's restocked at retailers.
We'll be re-selling the bundle (999+watch) on our online store once our new stock arrives too"

I also got a JB Hifi $40 voucher. Will I use it on a game? It is certainly possible!
And I actually did. I scored Fallout 3: GOTY Edition for the X360.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
Some of the stuff I got :
Uncharted 2
need for Speed Shift - Father in law told me he got it for free at a microsoft store opening and didn't know who else to give it to.
$20 PSN card
Video games Live volumes 1 & 2
Avatar extended Bluray
Inception Bluray
Song of Ice and Fire 2011 calendar
Coldfire series books 2 and 3
Nikon coolpix S8100 camera - quite nice for a point and shoot. I really want an SLR but can't justify the cost. This will do just fine.
plus tons of gift cards(combined with my wife) for movie theaters, book stores, food, itunes, etc.

Didn't get much, some nice clothes and a bunch of money from grandma.
Had more fun giving this year. My buddy got me a bunch of nice wine and beer gift sets etc. at cost from Brew Crew which owns adjacent beer/liquor stores. So I was able to give out some real nice stuff for much cheaper than I otherwise would have paid.
My laptop finally died so I'm prolly gonna spend some of the cash getting my desktop wireless which I never bothered to do before (they sell wireless network PCI/whatever cards, right?). Also some new bindings for my snowboard since I somehow lost a base plate and they were pieces of crap anyway.

Super tiny fashion mall EB got more 999 after all. They are my personal heroes.
Also being stubborn and checking EB after EB works as well. :-P

I guess Santa thought I suck and gave me a throat infection going around (where's Doc Lev? haha).
Many pharmacies are out of the "gargle" for it, so I've been using salted water (yum[/sarcasm]). I missed my Aunt's Christmas party and my Brother's, and stayed at home with my pup eating Mac n' Cheese trying to get better because I have to work...
Ah well, I'm just happy disease didn't follow on Christmas time till now as an adult; it would have been worse to go through a holiday sick as a kid.
