I remember playing FFV and noting it is much more lighthearted than other Final Fantasies, but I can't remember it being funny. It's been a looong time.
Maybe I should come back to it sometime.

It has been a while since my last playthrough but I remember certain funny parts. Looking back on it I enjoyed it a lot more than I remember. Odd since it is usually the other way around. Getting FFIV with the anthology set at the same time probably had something to do with it. I miss Galuf :( |

Ooo I'm game =D I actually don't think I've played V at all (the re-numbering still confuses me) I played the PSP verision of 1 breifly and played IV when it used to be II but never beat it. VI was responsible for solidifying my obessesion with the genre...when it was still called III. So that's 3 out of 6 that I've never played. |

The only FFs I've played are the original on NES, IV on SNES, 7 and 8 on psx (never beat 100%) and X (also never beat)
So I'm game as well. I've heard a lot about V. And of course VI...

but one thing i do like about FFV wich im slowly playing through right now is the humor in it.
I second that. The humor makes the game that much better IMO. One of the reasons why its my fave in the series.^_^ |

Which version are you playing? I played a little of the playstation version and a lot of a fan translation, neither of which struck me as lol funny.

I generally don't find games "funny". Books and comedies, ducks and politicians? Yes. Disgaea got a chuckle out of me. I loved FFV for the challenge. The story was shaet. |

I hate Faris' pirate accent in the Playstation port.
I hated Kid's aussie or hick (or something) accent throughout all of CC. Made her sound like her IQ was shot since understanding her took that much more effort to read. |
