though it may show all the visual tropes/cliches of anime, this is part of why I LOVE anime. Let's face it: that all looks awesome. Totally, totally awesome.

I'm sure some rage-filled anti-fanboy somewhere is trying to use that video to condemn anime. But hey, I'm sure if you lined up virtually any slice of media and picked out cliches, you'd be able to come up with a tidy list of overlaps.

I'm a little put-off by one thing though: They used Genshiken 2's opening. That's... awkward, since G2's opening was already meant as a parody of other openings (hence all the male nudity mid-way through), and homoerotic overtones between the main characters. Seems like the wrong material to reinforce a point, if you're making one. :P
