Was anyone else really disappointed by this reveal?  I like the Yakuza games and I'm curious what else they can do, but that trailer looks generic as heck.  Couple that with some painfully bad dialogue (in what is supposed to be a serious drama) and a treasure trove of tired cliches and I have to wonder what the heck were they thinking...

If this is how Japanese developers think they're going to succeed in the western market then I wish they would just keep making games focused on Japan.

The theme of the story is pretty damn heavy, can't see them pulling it off too. But I also have a feeling this game'll be awesome in one way or another. And I'm pretty sure the chick is voiced by Laura Bailey, she's been doing a lot o' shit lately.
