What don't you get sick of?? Favorite things!!?

Here steph goes...

- First snowfalls (today was our first decent one!)
- Firsts for most seasons actually... First blossoms in spring, First red leaves falling, First day you don't wear think coats
- Bakery shopping (I could window shop all day long)
- Shopping for clothes (I shop alone, I feel bad with how long I take)
- Spaghetti and related pasta dishes (could eat em everyday)
- Special K cereal
- The movies Four Weddings and a Funeral, Layer Cake, and Garden State, How to Train your Dragon (even if not my ALLTIME FAVORITEs)
- The games Picross, Kirby Super Star, Tales of's, Zelda games
- Riding my bike around town
- Playing with little "palm sized toys": putty, the little puzzles, other gimmicks
- I love getting my hands dirty (obviously, not in poopoo or something nasty, but like for cooking or art stuff)
- I never get sick of just laying on my bed, with all 5 blankets and 6 pillows, and just wrapping myself in it and getting comfier and comfier
- I will lose my soul if my portable heater stops portably heating.
- Decorating, I take twice as long on most projects because it has to "look good".
- Cleaning.  My mom is a pack rat.  I rise against.
- Driving, gives me a chance to relax as I listen to my tunes, and not the radio's Top 40 (though, Classical/Jazz stations I don't mind).  The scenery is nice and it's quite peaceful so long as everyone drive right
- Art.  When I'm around it, I feel like I'm breathing cleaner air and my mind is stimulated as I think about the history of the piece, the circumstance for it's creation, and the elements within it.

The amount of narrative in this piece is ridiculous, and the circumstances even moreso.  Talking about it wows and makes me happy.

Your in SOUTHERN BC aren't you? Be different if you lived in the real arctic. I tell ya... Canadian's don't know what cold really is. First snowfall scares the shit out of me, it means -40F is just around the corner!

Writing and playing music
Driving (too)
Biking while listening to brand new albums, at night (yes, it's dangerous, but worth it!)
Cooking in real kitchens (not my cabin with no water)
Doggies
Warm nights... we don't have those here, ever, so I really really really like them!
Spring, breakup, grass (thank god the -40F is over!)
New Games... good ones
Listening to a newly produced tune of mine, over and over again, and realizing that I really like it (pride + aural pleasure)

The Crisps(potato chips?) called Skips (I do not even like them that much but they are addictive)
Walking at night while drunk (I mean down country roads not down a street. There is something to be said about looking at the night sky when you are not in your right state of mind)

lmao. Canadians don't know cold...? It gets that cold in Canada (maybe not south BC), trust me. -40F = -40C, and I've experienced that in Calgary and elsewhere. (I also thought Dice was out east but I could be wrong?)

And there's lots of Canada that's at the same latitude (albeit not very well populated :-P) as Alaska. I miss snow but not the freakishly cold weather. Or the way Vancouver acts when it snows. Ick.

So I never get sick of hot weather. because I don't get that much. ;)

Taking pictures - There is ALWAYS something worth taking a picture of.
Going through said pictures looking for the few that really turned out well.

Seeing the look on my sons face when I tell him I'm proud of him or that he did a good job on something. Makes me feel bad for my father who never told me such things growing up(or ever). TMI, perhaps.

Exploring new nature preserves/prairies/woodlands. On foot or on a bike. Preferably alone. So humbling.
Nature showing how awesome/beautiful it can be by creating amazing Ice storms, thunderstorms, sunrises/sunsets, and everything else. I will never tire of such things.
Sharing my favorite things with other people, especially when they like them too.
A warm bed on a cold winter night. We currently have fleece sheets on the bed. They are so soft and warm, it makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning.
