Is "I kept playing the Gagharv games because I liked the music." an acceptable excuse? :p

Forte in Song of the Ocean: I won't lose dejectedly!!!
Right before using a deadly skill attack, Martie in A Tear of Vermillion says: My skill as a adventurer is....OK
I always felt these sentenced were hilarious.

This is the reason to stay the hell away from the games. Do you want your spelling/grammar to atrophy like that?

Oups....I realized I made a mistake in my previous message.....I meant sentences........not sentenced. Since I'm not a game translator, I hope you guys can forgive me. lol.

I'd be willing to forgive you if you weren't so liberal with the ellipsis ;P

I wish this forum had a Like button. In news that matters to this thread, I just may have convinced my friend to let me get this for her as a Christmas gift. I do hope so; I've wanted to play this game ever since the reviews rolled in.

In fact, if I remember right there was only one ellipsis in the original sentence in the game. It's my mistake for using it so much. The ellipsis doesn't have the same meaning in English than in French. I'm French Canadian and not perfectly bilingual, so sometimes I found it difficult to get into the Gagharv Trilogy (I've only played Vermillion and Ocean however). Some sentences were very poorly written, so it was hard for me to understand their true meaning.

Oh, I'm sure that if anyone wanted, they could claim that the game's translation is so undecipherable, that it's full of 'hidden meanings.' ;)

You're going to have to explain this one to me. I never saw that episode.

To make the picture more clear, that is a birthday cake in front of Marge. It's her birthday. I think given that information you should be able to figure out the rest.
