This actually has peaked my interest. I remember playing through the first one and a little bit of the second. Haven't played a TR game since then.
I think this is why they can still try to make the franchise relevant.
But, Lara Croft was the epitome of objectification, and seeing her new appearance after all these years, I still think "mud wrestling".
I like(d) Eidos, and Square Enix, so I remain open to this being good.
Final thoughts: girl Turok.

Looks interesting, definitely darker and more violence than previous games. I like this new Lara, looks more like a real woman, more natural. It's not the best looking game out there but I like where they are going with this and it will probably look better when it's finished. I spot QTEs in a couple of pics but those never bothered me.

Those pics just tell me one thing; that this game is going to look better on PC. If the final product is going to look as good as these screenshots when the game is released on consoles, then I'll be really impressed.

The game looks stunning (though, with that much rain, you'd think the blood would have washed odd.....eh, nuance).
Hopefully, with Squeenix at the helm, it'll learn from FF13 and incorporate great graphics...and better gameplay.

From a technical point of view it actually doesn't look very impressive, It does seem to have this nice survival horror atmosphere though.

If this is the general vibe reviewers get from the game when it's released, I'm definitely getting it. The pics

They were able to revive Lara Croft with the Guardian of Light after some "hicups", and from the looks of these images they might be going on the right track. The graphics for sure aren't something special, but since it's still in development there's room for improvement. I'm kinda curios what kind of gameplay they will use.

Found the trilogy for 21 euro and ordered it. I played Anniversary and Legend on PS2 and Underworld on PC but the first 2 look so good in these remastered versions and I really enjoyed them back then so I decided to give them another go. Buying all 3 on steam right now costs about twice as much. I guess I'm in the mood for this type of game right now because I'm really looking forward to playing these again. It's been awhile so I don't remember much anyway.
For anyone who cares about these things, all 3 games have trophies, there are also 2 home avatars, a theme and making of videos for all 3 games.
Should get me hyped for the new game, I hope it's good.

I always secretly look forward to a new Tomb Raider - it's something to do with it being one of the first games I ever got on my PlayStation back in the day.
I'm watching this closely, it could go both ways.
I do want to mention that Lara Croft & The Guardian Of Light is fantastic for a digital game and is one of the best co-op experiences I have had in a long time. You people should check it out, though I have to say the game is not as strong in single player.

The new PS3 version of Anniversary seems to look better than the PC version:

PC is at max settings at 720p. In the first pic check out Lara's face, especially the nose. Lighting also seems improved. The overall image looks crisper on PC though. Looks like a very good port.
